I think possession stats are sometimes just a comparison of the number of passes. So when Derby pass it 20 times around their back 4 for a minute or two their possession % goes up considerably.Quote:

I'm not sure what to make of Vaulks. He barely got a game in the first half of last season and didn't perform well when he was on the pitch, but then he played really well either side of lockdown.
