The girls lawyer is saying her mother is talking rubbish and it never happened and he informed the sun on Friday it was not true

Apart from gluey, who was telling us he knew more than he was letting on at around eight o clock this morning, who knows what’s really happened in this case? I doubt it if this latest twist will make much difference to those who seized on the story as a means of trying to further their political agenda mind.

It's definitely a girl and she's from Cardiff. I can't say anything more in case I compromise the person who gave me this info but I am 100% sure it's correct. And the other party is one of the names who's featured in this thread. As for the details of the case I have no idea.

I don't normally make claims to be ITK but if anyone suspects I may be wrong then that's fine.

Regardless of who racks up on the News tonight things are getting a little clearer.

If the Sun has evidence the accused engaged in this relationship such that explicit material was exchanged before she was 18 then the BBC presenter is in a lot of trouble.

If The Sun has no such proof, even if the events took place as stated then what crime between two consenting adults has taken place such that the privacy of those two adults needed to be intruded in the public interest.

At the very least the Sun looks vulnerable in not printing the rebuttal from the alleged victim given that they had received it prior to going to press with the story.

The parents were ignored by the BBC and there are also 3rd party lawyers involved, so my guess is the parents thought they needed some help as nobody was listening to them. It seems to have worked, as the BBC are now taking them seriously, and all that's missing is the truth which will come out eventually.
