Yet another stoppage time goal!
No-one should leave early in our matches!
(they will though)

Re: FT: BIRMINGHAM CITY 1 - 3 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Great win, had my concerns seeing that line up.
Looks like we have it a good go, and 3 decent goals.

The furthest we've progressed since 2014/15 when a City side featuring Danny Gabbidon were beaten 3-0 by Bournemouth

just like watching Brazil :ayatollah:
looks like our manager is putting his stamp on the team now and looking to play a more expansive game as i thought he would
looking forward to every game now
just to think i almost gave up the end of last season with the dismal out dated football we were being subjected too !

I just hope this doesn't mean Vincent thinks new signings aren't needed.
I just followed the audio, blogs and Sky Sports - but it looked like a very good performance.
However - we started with two midfielders in the back line and Etete up top who hasn't yet got back to the place where he ended last season.
Please Vincent - ignore the result - centre backs and a centre forward before close of play Friday - PLEASE!

Re: FT: BIRMINGHAM CITY 1 - 3 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Simpson out with illness.
Robinson out with continuing back muscle niggle picked up in Portugal.

Re: FT: BIRMINGHAM CITY 1 - 3 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Bulut post match:
"We need centre-backs!" he laughed. "I hope [to sign] at least one. Maybe two centre-backs."
Bournemouth striker Kieffer Moore's name continues to be linked with Cardiff City and when WalesOnline asked if he was a player the manager would like back at the club, he said: "Right now I cannot say anything. Wait until Friday and then we will see surprises, I hope!"

What's going on, it's actually enjoyable watching CCFC at the moment.
Fantastic tonight, absolutely dominated and were able to go up the gears when we needed to.
Tanner & Colwill link up carried on from Saturday, were causing them all sort of problems. Colwill run the game, really impressed.
Can see Sawyers having a few comments above, but he was everywhere tonight. Wouldve been very easy for him to chuck his toys after Bulut's comments, think reflects really well on both Sawyers and Bulut on how well he performed.

I too wouldn’t be rushing to get shot of Sawyers and Rinomhota.
It’s a long season and they can play their part. Assuming they’re ok with that

Yeah he was fine, he didn't have a lot to do defensively, but was an option on the ball.

Credit to Sawyers. He’s put himself in the shop window and has shown he’s a real pro.
Colwill has played well this season, his link up with Tanner has been great and he’s not making the same wild decisions he made previously. Almost as if having a proper manager helps?!

Love love love waking up to these goals! GET IN :ayatollah:
Another highlight from twitter, some lovely stuff:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Imagine Grant finished this.. Erol what are you cooking king feel like it’s actually starting to click and it’s so exciting <a href="https://t.co/Hlog8KSokv">pic.twitter.com/Hlog8KSokv</a></p>— Morgan (@morganedwards01) <a href="https://twitter.com/morganedwards01/status/1696645159906107759?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">August 29, 2023</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
We got depth lads, DEPTH.

I see Sheff Weds lost at home on penalties. Will Vaulks missed his spot kick, not been his week has it, and Mansfield's winning kick was scored by Aden Flint - who played for Sheff Weds last season.
Sounds a great effort from our lot. I wasn't there last night but will be at Portman Rd on Saturday. That's going to be some occasion.

Still think it's a Mickey Mouse cup but good to see us bring the best out of the bench
