And the joke is even with that, we've been cut open with ease the entire game as well.
About as puzzling to try to understand what the tactics were designed to do well as I've seen. Don't think getting rid of Bulut solves anything but equally, how can you want him to stay based on this.
Bulut going means we have a chance of getting someone who knows what they're doing. He's an absolute clown, one of the worst we've had. He's got some good players and they're absolutely appalling under him. Take today, we finished with Grant, Ramsey, O'Dowda and Robinson on the pitch, we could have played for 3 weeks and not scored.

Never seen such a poor display, nothing happening a shit show.

That's the dilemma. Bulut isn't great but I don't trust the powers that be to get the next appointment right. We're in a real shit malaise as a club. That showed today.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v SUNDERLAND. Match thread
So much for bouncing back from the abject Swansea performance. That was a half hearted performance from a team with nothing to play for and players who don’t care as they won’t be here next season sent out by a manager who must be thinking the same
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v SUNDERLAND. Match thread
Some have put our lack of goal threat from open play down to the absence of Ramsey and O'Dowda. That shambles puts that theory to bed.
Get rid of Bulut now. I'm done for this season.

Yeah, without turning this into another Colwill thread, Ramsey did absolutely nothing out there that Colwill hasn't done again and again this season. I think you could have 28 year old Ramsey out there and he'd still look shite as he'd still have nobody to pass the ball forward to.
Also, how have we spent $2m a couple months ago on an attacking midfielder who couldn't get on the pitch with today's performance?

I don't think your comments on Ramsey are fair but there's some garbage on that pitch including that donkey Diedhiou. Turnbull was signed because Bulut doesn't rate Colwill and then he's realised Turnbull is worse. I don't want Bulut getting another transfer window, his signings have been dreadful.

Do you think he signed Turnbull? I’m not so sure but whoever did it makes no sense. We needed power and pace in that midfield and he’s neither. He just doesn’t fit into what we have or what we needed.

Pretty much this.

If Turnbull isn't the answer then what makes people think colwill is ?

If turnbull isn't the answer and maybe colwill isn't then what is the question?

I think Colwill offers a lot more going forward. Turnbull probably a little more rounded in his general game. I don’t see why we would need both in the squad when we are crying out in no many other positions. Our midfield is all slow.

What attacking midfielder would look good in a team that doesn't seem to believe in getting runners into the final third and regularly hopes for 1-0 wins at home with a set piece goal as the best possible outcome?
-
Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 0 - 2 SUNDERLAND. Match thread
Steve cooper still free……

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 0 - 2 SUNDERLAND. Match thread
Colwill is league 1 at best, he's had enough chances over the last few seasons, he flatters to deceive, with the odd goal or pass here and there but 95% you struggle to see if he's on the pitch.

Exactly, we lack so much creativity throughout the rest of the team, no number 10 is going to do well.
-
Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 0 - 2 SUNDERLAND. Match thread
Everything should go through a half decent number 10 !!!!!!!!!!

Nah he's quite big so I can always see when he's on the pitch to be fair ill give him that.

Yes, he wanted Bakasetas too. He's made no secret he wants a 10. We've only got Ramsey, Colwill and Robinson that play there. Now weve also got Turnbull but he saw no issue with Siopis, Ralls and Wintle's complete lack of creativity. This is entirely by design, it is not an accident we've ended up here.

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 0 - 2 SUNDERLAND. Match thread
And that's one of his problems, he's a cart horse !!!!!!!

Just got back from the game Pedro. Ramsey's done. Gave the ball away around three times within the first 10 minutes of him coming on and is a set-piece player now at best. Pretty much a continuation of the Swansea performance.
Sunderland were a good watch tbh. Played some decent football. Nothing else to report. Apart from the most exciting part of the day was a load of us and Sunderland fans sheltering in the bus depot during a downpour.

They're all shite.

Any team who gives more than 50% effort can breeze past us.
-
Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 0 - 2 SUNDERLAND. Match thread
Appalling all over the pitch. Horvath only one who perhaps who you can't really blame much.
Looked like they had just got back from a lads holiday.

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 0 - 2 SUNDERLAND. Match thread
This dreadful 90 minutes sums up the season. Apart from the golden spell of 13 points from 15 which saved our skins, we have been shocking. Today was a new low and Bulut must take the blame. Our home record is woeful, today expensive signings and highly paid individuals could not cut the mustard against a team who had lost 6 of the last seven matches.
The whole team looked disinterested, lazy and badly coached.

So Colwill is the scapegoat. The performances from the heart of midfield is the problem along with the tactics employed by Bulut. There were at least 3 players who played League 2 standard at best in midfield and Colwill wasn’t one of them.

Did I miss something??? WOL gives Bowler the Star man award.....bloody hell...
Agree about Ramsey....he's got another year on contract.....nice work if you can get it...

We know he wanted Bakasetas and others and we are told a lot of planning went into scouting players ready for January before the budget was slashed. I do wonder how much scouting or input he had for those players signed. Turnbull is a huge step down from Bakasetas, I’m not sure if Turnbull is even good enough to play as a 10 with how we play. I like the keeper and Phillips but I can’t say I’m impressed with the others. I wouldn’t be sorry to see all our loans return as I think a new manager needs a number of players.

The keeper surely?
Although I’m not sure Bowler was as bad as people made out today, I can’t think of many better.

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 0 - 2 SUNDERLAND. Match thread
Pretty much everyone we've lost to this season has probably gone home thinking "easiest 3 points of the season".

I wouldn't have him as the scapegoat but he was every bit as poor as the rest of them.

He's a very defensive, cautious manager who's somehow conned some into thinking he wants to play free flowing attacking football

Ramsey may be shot to pieces, never to have a decent game again but isn't he just coming back from a long injury?
I'm hoping his focus is now only City next season, if he retires from Wales? He perhaps give City a finzl swan song.
I'm a dreamer baby...
