Bellamy did get the line up right to suit the conditions.

No, but when i was around 15 years of age i went up to Newcastle with my mate to see a coup,e of girls we had 'Befriended' we stayed in one of their houses, and her Father was a massive cock, making us go to Durham and shit like that, so we locked ourselves in the room for three days and played Donkey Kong.

If an infinite number of monkeys had an infinite number of typewriters and only the words Kong, cock and donkey to work with...I reckon it'd be pretty close to that post! .....my detective like brain deduces you must have been playing on a Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).

I think it was a Gameboy? light grey in colour. It's a true story, Ray his name was, "Wakey Wakey Boys, we're off to Durham' Yeah, **** right off Ray!

I believed the story. Yeah, sounds like a Gameboy before the colour version.....I feel I should say something more about the match tonight on this thread but my mind's wandered off thinking about Donkey Kong leaderboard scores now.

I was one of those affected. My group decided not to go on Sunday morning when it looked like a 4:30 pm flight. But I'm not sure that we have all been told the full story. I suspect that more details will be revealed about the timing and sequencing of events.

I heard that it was hit on its way to Cardiff. Then was deemed unsafe to fly. A replacement plane was eventually arranged but it was outside the flight crew times and there were no crews available. It does sound credible. My sister-in-law flies with BA and there are strict rules about crew turnarounds. Feel for you though mate and all the others. It sucks when stuff like this happens.

It's interesting that a "bird strike" is a specific exemption under EU and UK law on receiving delay/cancellation compensation. In our initial research we can no record on Friday of a bird strike - airlines must report them to the CAA and as far as we can tell nothing was reported involving Air Montenegro.

Haven't Wonky Sheep offered a refund then? Didn't know that about bird strikes and compensation. Hope you get it sorted.

Thanks. I've always rated Wonky. But worry a bit how this might affect a small business' cash flow. We'll see.

If anyone should be getting compensated then you would hope it's the family of the poor bird.

The eyes will be on Bellamy at some point and he’s going to have to know what he’s made of himself.
Let’s be honest we could have lost that game 4/5-2 and he couldn’t say anything else. His tactics will leave us exposed at times.
However, I’m willing to accept those losses as the football is so much more entertaining.

He said the game against Turkey was the worst we will ever play, and in the very next game we were worse! The conditions were atrocious mind, and I suppose most of the game plan went out of the window.

Wales cling on to win in waterlogged Montenegro after Moore and Wilson strike in first three minutes.
Wales ride their luck to gain first win of Bellamy era.

The conditions were that bad, I don't think you can judge us from last night, football wise. It was a dogged display and we showed real fight. We could have scored a few more as well.
I agree about the entertainment. Its like the Southampton game in the cup, we lost 5-3 but I would take that over losing 1-0, even of he goal difference is worse, it was enjoyable to watch.

Re: FT: MONTENEGRO 1 - 2 WALES. Match thread
Last night saw Ramsey go 1 ahead of Gary Speed's total number of caps, up to 86 now. Pretty remarkable considering his injury issues. 100 is probably beyond him now but he could beat Southall's previous record of 92
Ethan Ampadu, 24 in a few days, seems well on course to smash the caps record though. 54 caps already ad he probably has another 10 years in him, already amassed more than players like Andy King, Danny Gabbidon and James Collins
