Beale played football as a youth, but retired at 21 and became a coach. He worked for Chelsea, Liverpool and São Paulo. To be fair weren't QPR top of the league when he left them? Then they almost got relegated that same season.
And at Sunderland he won about 4 out of his 12 games? He upset the fans but his record was solid mid table?

Said on 23rd september. Just surprised he hasnt been confirmed yet.
Unbelievable the bookies were offering 10/1 on him lasting 10 games.

I started the game not wanting him to get the job, ended it worried about whoever else came in not starting Colwill, Tanner and Robertson, who are making me genuinely look forward to watching City again
