What a great afternoon in the sun. Some decent football as well as the goal fest. Astonishing.

They may not be that good for us, but the picture shows they are aren't detached, they care.

When’s the last time we scored 5 goals with 5 different scorers?

In Robinson’s interview he stressed how good Riza is with all the players in and out of the team, and telling those not starting to be ready to take their chance.
I’d love Kanga to prove us all wrong. He fluffed that easy chance, leaning back and skied it.
Positive day though, I’m convinced we’ve got a good squad. Etete back training, let’s hope he kicks on.

Best City performance since those early ones during the Warnock promotion season?

some of those performances were against very strong teams, and I'm not convinced Wayne-Rooney's-Plymouth, to give them their full name, are in that category

No.
But I get why your saying that.
Such a huge improvement on the utter dross that has been served up for so long particularly under Bulut.
Under the passing from the back style so many want us to play that's the first time I've ever seen us play it well and convincingly.

That’s why I said since.

I read the Plymouth match day thread, very complimentary about Colwill other than most of them were calling him Colville

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 5 - 0 PLYMOUTH ARGYLE. Match thread
Cardiff City score 5. Reading score 4.
.....its been a while.
-
Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 5 - 0 PLYMOUTH ARGYLE. Match thread
We just scored more goals in one game than we have the rest of the season combined.
One goal in six games under Bulut.
Eight in four games under Riza, scoring in every game.

Very happy with that. Best performance for a long time.
Think I've fallen in love with Robertson and Colwill.
Do you think they'd fancy a threesome?

Agreed.
Plymouth were poor (as were Millwall and to a lesser extent The Wurzels) and played for a long period with 10 men so we need not get too carried away as lots of people seem to be doing.
That said we played well and there can be no complaints. :-)

Good to read you’re not complaining after that performance, but, in essence you are by suggesting that all of the last three sides we played were poor - Millwall went to West Brom and drew after playing us and didn’t lose yesterday and, by the look of it, the wurzels won pretty comfortably at Middlesbrough.
I’ll stick with my opinion that we put on our most comprehensive and entertaining performance in years.

The other side of our game was in evidence yesterday. Players all over the pitch, always someone to receive a pass, and we literally snapped at their heels for 90+ minutes. I also think we'll see players recovering from injuries a bit quicker now..

I was answering a different question.
Last time at least 5 goals with different scorers appears to be Cardiff 6 Exeter 1 on 1 January 2001 - with 6 scorers.

Um why are you picking an argument. I was replying to
From Alan Corneli
Am I going to be the first to ask? My memory is shot to s**t, when did we last score five?
Reply from Nobody's rep
I can remember beating Oxford 5-0 in 1970-71 and I was there when we put 8 past Ebbw Vale.
Apparently Rotherham in 2017 remember sticking six on derby one game at the new stadium before that
RichardM then asked "According to the BBC it was the best win since 2017, but it doesn't give any details. "
So I filled in the details. When I started my reply I had not seen ninian opinion's question "When’s the last time we scored 5 goals with 5 different scorers? " If I had then I would have answered it.
