Great result.
The new guy could have been given two minutes of injury time to let him get a feel for proper support. He’ll be howling.
He came on didn't he?

That's double figures for the season for Robinson isn't it?

Thought Salaeh showed promise in the few minutes he was on. Hard working, aggressive, won balls in the air.

Did more in that 15 minutes than Kanga did all season.

He did. My bad for being excited and not checking what I was tippy tapping on the phone before pressing send.

He was well up for it today, superb performance. He’s been class since moving to midfield, what a turnaround.

Ralls, Rinomhota and Chambers were all excellent today, which isn't something I'd thought I'd ever ever say.
Bloody brilliant.

Best not to judge until we've seen him taking shots in a pre-match warm up, but yes- won some flick ons, looks mobile and also happy to play the ball on the floor.

to be fair Robinson still had plenty to do to score from there

Wonder how much both Cardiff & Swansea will be fined for the Riza red card and the handbags before & after the final whistle.
To be fair to the Swansea lad who collided with Riza ... there appeared to be no intent. I'll have to watch the clip again.

Our central midfield totally dominated theirs.
Felt we gave them too much time first half. Some fine performances overall, a great day.

does Riza get a one game or 3 game touchline ban?
-
Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 3 - 0 SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
They are 7 points above us but I'll be disappointed if they finish higher than us.
If they can lose 4 0 and 3 0 to likes of us and Pompey then when you look at the table surely other teams will smell blood and put them and their awful defence to the sword.

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 3 - 0 SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
This made me laugh. During the fracas towards the end I noticed Salech holding back 3 Swansea players at the same time.
-
Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 3 - 0 SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
I hope he didn't get injured doing that

Riza was outside his technical area ... almost on the touchline when Franco collided with him. Franco was not shown a card.
Riza going on to the pitch to aggressively confront Franco could result in a harsher punishment than Bulut ... who was given a one-game ban.
The red mist fell. Cannot be condoned but given the last 48 hours that Riza has had to cope with ...

Agree and Bagan did a great job coming off the bench against Ronald.

I really don't rate Ronald, Franco is a decent player though

Rinomhota, and Bagan were immense today
Chalmbers was superb
We were better from 1 through to 11 than them
All that possession stats is a load of bollocks all they did was pass it back and forth in their own half

Even with 10 minutes to go and chasing the game they still continued to pass around the back. They don't seem to have any other idea they could be in trouble.

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 3 - 0 SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
I do think we got lucky with the ref slightly and thought he did very well
For example. Deliberate handball by Ralls to stop play.
Could have been a yellow and then could have been targeted from therein.
The amount of positivity I feel following the game is immense and I hope the rest of the players and fans feel the same.
-
Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 3 - 0 SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
I almost felt sorry for Ronald
Rinomhota absolutely destroyed him if it was a boxing match it would have been stopped it was such a brutal take down of a player. I doubt he’ll sleep for a week
Also Chambers was head and shoulders above any body else out there - totally dominant and ably supported by Ralls. We’ve never beaten them in midfield since they’ve come back but today was fantastic

Hmm, not sure about that, it looked intentional to me. They really lost it at the final whistle, very little handshaking. Meite went up to a Swansea player and held his hand out and the Swansea player waved him away - Meite patted him on the head and then it all went off again. no, they weren't a happy bunch at all..

Watch it again. It was deliberate alright - see the brief smirk on the guy's face as he gets the anticiated reaction from Riza.
I wasn't there but my two lads and two of my grandsons were, and they said that the ground was bouncing towards the end. Always nice to beat the Jacks of course. Couldn't believe the final score! Hopefully this will be a huge confidence-builder for City. Onwards and upwards.......

This fixture is always a must-win for the Jacks, it being their cup final. Hence not happy with a 3-0 defeat.

Best home atmosphere at the final whistle than I've seen in a long time.
