Why on Earth should anyone worry about a thick, infantile and petulant tosser pressing the nuclear activation alarm instead of the can of Coke order button?

Except they won't though, will they? They have already shown they are above the law. More proof of a dictatorship.

For reference, look up the Russia collusion hoax. Lardy is a subject expert.

I really have no interest in that. Whether it was true or not, they’re certinaly in bed together now aren’t they? And not in a good way.

No they arent. Talking to someone to end a war isn't being in bed with someone.
How do you expect to end the war in Gaza?

It is if you treat the other country involved as trash as you talk to those that invaded ?

America are basically saying to Russia, whether they realise it or not that it’s okay to invade another country. So how long before Russia does it again?

Yes I do get that argument but we keep going around in circles as to how else the war ends in that case. And we basically end up with the same conclusion: that it just carries on then, and people keep dying and the economic impact on Europe continues

And how about their tactics to leave Ukraine out of the negotiations? Their treatment of Zelenskyy in the White House was an embarrassment also. And let’s be honest, MAGA are only interested in Ukraine’s minerals.

USA haven't left Ukraine out of negotiations. They've spoken to both sides. That's what happens. Anyone who says they have left Ukraine out of negotiations is lying.
The whole white house argument was embarrassing, I agree.

Either this is the kind of thing that happens when a TV host with a drink problem is put in charge of the military, or it's strategic 4D chess.

In any other country, or even in the US at any other time, someone loses a job for this. I can't even see that happening here.

Europe are the main beneficiaries as a lot of their trade passes through the Suez canal.

This discussion was not about the pros and cons of bombing Houthi hospitals. It was about the stupidity, the recklessness, the childish posing and the blatant lies of the senior US government figures in that chat group.

In what respect? If the object of the exercise was to make senior members of the Administration look gormless, somewhat juvenile, slapdash and ignorant then, yes I suppose it was a success.
It's back to the old cock up v conspiracy discussion. If there was an ulterior motive that all of us are missing, apart from you, and the operation has, in fact, gone exactly as planned, why did the Vice President, Secretary of State, Defence Secretary etc have to be made to look such idiots?

The main reveal from the chat posts was that the mission was to ‘do something’ because Trump had decided he wanted something done. So despite the fact that at least half of the participants thought it was a dumb idea they all agreed that pandering to the latest whim of the man child was the smart thing for their increasingly pathetic careers.
So a gesture was made. Any remaining allies were routinely insulted. Over 50 people (including 5 children) were killed. The administration sank into a deeper pit of incompetence and embarrassment.
Maybe that is the hallmark of a successful mission?

So the Iran-backed Houthi rebels should be left alone to do their own thing? Ok, gotcha.
