Maybe he was over here at one of the counts for the 2019 election?

I’ve been in the where’s the end product with Williams camp at times before, but I agree he was good last night.

Perhaps read the thread instead of instantly just trying to belittle a poster because you have political differences.

If Holland win it would be funny to see Wales or Cardiff fans doing this at some point in the future :hehe:

Unlikely I know but I can imagine one or two drunk fans trying it

FWIW I have read the thread. Another poster was taking the piss out of WB by claiming he had been following Yamal for over 5 years - because that is typical WB. There cannot be a promising Albanian 7 year old that WB hasn't personally scouted. WB chose to play along by repeating that he had been following Yamal for 5 years. Normally that would be it - a piece of unusual but mildly funny self-depreciation. However, yesterday on the Alt Board WB chose to call several posters 'creepy' who were calling him out for lying about Reform candidates at the election. Given all that it would have been a terrible waste not to shine a light on a real 'creepy' claim!
(Aren't 'jokes' so much better when they have to be explained?)
I fully expected him to come back with some rebuff that mentioned Russia Collusion Hoax or The Great Reset. But you chose to jump in and defend him before we could enjoy that. I'm sure WB appreciates it - as do I.

It just doesn't read well does it, for anyone not regular on the board.
I don't think its funny to make jokes about posters and 11 year old boys, people can read that without context and get the wrong idea.

Been reading a book on Peps time at Barcelona then Bayern Munich. It goes into tactics in depth (swooshes right over my head ) where it says he has progressed what they call Cruyffs tactics to a new level . It is very interesting once you get into it , he never wanted his players just to retain the ball, they had to be looking to go forward with it .
The Spanish bought into it , the Germans not so much .
If we are talking about the Dutch on 1978 it would be amiss of me not to mention one of the great World Cup goals by that Footballing colossus ....Scotland....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyJTBrbPIHQ 3-1 up needing one more goal....:hehe:

Re: EUROS thread. The semi finals
Really cant make a case for the Netherlands winning tonight, think this will be a comfortable win for England. Wouldn't be big upset upset if they do lose, but it would be in keeping with the status quo of this tournament should England win, there have been next to no upsets since the group stages (and they were scarce during those).

9 goals scored in 5 games? The ability to come back? The fact they actually attack? I mean there is a case.
Not to say England won't strangle the life out of them, but there is a case to be made for them.

the Hungarian team of the 50s was regarded as head and shoulders the best in the world for a number of years, just didn't get the results when it counted, then never recovered after the revolution in 1956

The Austrians were the strongest team on this side of the group, The Turks beat them and the Dutch beat the Turks in normal time, it's an interesting game.
I have been driving and listening to talksport, they are talking more about how England can beat the Spanish, and then they should come home with the trophy on the Ferry or Fly back, who should have the New Year honors, and where they should start the open top bus tour, Carlisle or Lands end.

Somebody else started the the creepy thing, so I was just repeating it for a laugh. This joke about a joke that was about another joke before it became another joke is getting a bit out of hand!

The Austrian wunderteam of the 1930s were a side that were tipped to win the lot yet didn’t.
