To suggest it's to create a greater Israel right across the middle East - that's a conspiracy theory. As with them all, there may be elements of truth in it but it's also not reality.

The particular version of political Zionism that Likud and their allies (some fascist) are pushing is exactly to create a Greater Israel across Israel/Palestine and parts of Jordan, Lebanon and Syria.
