Why would I? They don’t have a chip on their shoulder about people supporting their local club when technically they don’t support theirs.
You have a problem with the Premier League, and people who don’t support their local club yet we’ve got a man who who supports his local club, raises money for his local football club, Invests in his local club and yet you describe him as “odd” and “bitter” because hed like to see more people support their local club. Astounding double standards.

Was that when half of the welsh support was locked up ?
No that was the previous game, the 1-1 draw.
This was the 2-0 defeat. The Kit Symons lost the ball in the air whilst he was playing with his cock match.

He was very bitter towards cardiff city , if this is the same guy , as was his mate , who previously was a lifelong cardiff fan , from Maesteg
Very odd pair

The 1-1 was mental. Wales fighting locals, Belgian football lads and each other.
The 2-0 was far more sedate although there incidents.
Been to Belgium three times for football. Three times the gendarmerie have had more than words with me.
Belgian police don’t **** about and don’t really have too much of a sense of humour.

Amsterdam is very dicey on times and that’s without any football.
The 7-1 mauling match saw a couple of Welsh lads stabbed, one quite seriously. Not the place to be ****ing about with local drug dealers and the like.

I went on a college field trip .....ie get stoned ......over to Amsterdam in 1990
One of the women who went with us was stunning , she and a guy called Ibrahim took a wrong turn and ended up in a bar of locals , he was a big guy of North African and dressed like a king , quite literally
The locals thought she was ......his woman......and offered him loads of money to make a porn film with her in the room above the bar . He had to use all his tricks to persuade them to allow them to leave , saying they would bring more of .....his women .....with them on their return
They found us in one of the tourist bars and the poor woman was really shaken up , ibby reckoned if she was on her own she would have been forced into sex
Horrible

Re: Dear Mr Gunman , this is why I hate the Premier league
I hate when City fans bang on about supporting your local club. If the 20k down City did that then you’d be seeing crowds in their hundreds.
Choosing to support City over a Merthyr, Ton Pentre or Barry is no different really to someone deciding to support Liverpool.

I beg to differ , its completely different
Cardiff City are , for the people of cardiff , Barry, bridgend , and most of the valleys , the main existing football league team , not ton Pentre, porth etc
And for the city of Swansea and west Wales, swansea city , not Llanelli or carmarthen Town, are the nearest league club
Supporting your local team in general means supporting your local league team
So for most of south Wales cardiff city should be the team to support and many people from the area will watch their local non league team and cardiff city .......porth every other Saturday, the bluebirds in-between
In cornwall , the nearest league team is Plymouth but locals will still have bodmin town or Truro as their non league team
The people I am talking about is the thousands of people all over the country who not only ignore their local league team in this case cardiff city but they support Liverpool and man united, its completely different
And often the following Saturday cheer on wales against England in the rugby
Over the years I have supported cardiff city these plastic armchair fans are a constant source of debate
The only way for cardiff city to really grow is to get into the top flight and stay there
But its a league whose set up I don't like as I think it has ruined football
Its a difficult one

With the utmost respect...
What a pile of bollocks riddled with inconsistencies, judgemental values and sprinkled with romantic notions.
Advocating City are some bastions of the South Wales area is now laughable when the club ripped up their own traditions, heritage and culture on the whim of the owner. More disturbing for some was the majority of supporters “went for it.”
Trying to make City out to be like Athletic Bilbao has made my morning.

Re: Dear Mr Gunman , this is why I hate the Premier league
I’m struggling to see a difference Sludge. Unless you grew up within sight of the Ninian Park floodlights, we have all decided to follow City based on their success.
You say local league team whilst completely ignoring the Welsh league system. Cardiff and Swansea have done more damage to football in Wales than Liverpool, Manchester United or whatever popular team at the time could ever do. Cardiff taking talent from the Rhondda is no different to Liverpool doing it.

Laughable isn't it? Especially as it comes from somebody who chose not to support his local club.....

oh I can assure I was disgusted with the rebrand , disgusted with the fans that went along with it and disgusted with the personal abuse I took in the form of threatening phonecalls
But it is the nearest football league team for the majority of the south Eastern Wales footballing public
Yet thousands ignore us and support liverpool and man united
Thats as clear as day

every established football team in the country takes fans from the non league
Stalybridge celtic in greater manchester have good local support but many people in the area also support Oldham, man City and man united

You may not like it as you get a nosebleed when you move out of Rhiwbina but a lot of cardiff citys support comes from outside of cardiff .
Bridgend
The Valleys
West Glamorgan
These people in West Glamorgan that follow cardiff , from towns such as Margam, taibach , port Talbot and neath are travelling 35 minutes down the road to watch cardiff city
They are not getting on a bus in pontypridd and by passing cardiff and Newport to travel 4 hours up to Manchester or Liverpool, totally ignoring any football locally
And a lot of people , the sky armchair lot , don't even bother with that
These are the people fecking up football in South wales

Just take the loss, Sludge. It’s pitiful to watch you try and worm out of it. Stevie Wonder can see the hypocrisy and inconsistencies in your argument.

If you and your merry band think someone from west Glamorgan supporting cardiff city , a club 35 minutes drive away is comparable to these nerks from the pontypridd man united supporters club going 4 hours up to old Trafford please take me to your dealer
