If the best of an extremely grim pair is a racist then some have their priorities wrong.

Of course he has been caught grabbing women and the multiple testomonies are not disproven. Over the next few years we will see more people coming forward and hopefully not all will be paid off to drop lawsuits.
This isn't about liberal elites! Why make it a left/right issue?
And I spent a lot longer in locker rooms than most people and while conversations and banter can be crude I have never heard any of my team mates advocate sexually assaulting women.
Listen, Im no Hilary fan, in fact I dislike her. But Trump admitted grabbing women by their genitals (his own confession) and people making allegations against him may have been prompted to by the Clinton campaign but that doesn't mean it didn't happen.
But my main point is what an awful reflection on both republicans and democrats and the political system in America when the two nominations were abhorrent and in my opinion, one more abhorrent than the other
So what?
That is no surprise.
One could argue it is bringing out into the light what has been hidden away... as long as no one is lying surely that is a good thing, even if underhanded?
Likewise if the trump campaign were trying to shed light on Clintons dealings that is a good thing surely?
While all of this leaves a bitter taste in the mouth I hardly think it's unexpected that campaigns are trying to reveal things about the other side in order to gain some points.
For the love of God what a ridiculous thing to say.
Why do you make everything a left / right thing?
I work in child protection reforms, including dealing with child abuse, trafficking etc, in many countries and there is no left/right agenda on this issue.
Most 'liberals' and indeed conservatives that are involved in combating child abuse are calling for tougher sentences, smarter treatment and better research on identifying key factors / indicators to identify potential behaviour.
3 pages and nobodies posted "...took my baby away", dissapointing CCMB
Ah you raise a great point! And honestly would love to get into a long discussion with you about it but just don't have the time.
There are some people, liberal and otherwise, who are trying to redefine orientation. They claim they are doing this in order that people can get help, not to legitimize their behavior. Now I disagree with this tactic as anyone who is attracted to children is a risk to them and has some fundamental issues that need resolving and in fact society needs to be protected from such people - and I do not believe that redefining orientation would actually help. There are many other ways and many NGO's (most liberal leaning!) that work with offenders and those possible offenders also do not agree with that tactic.
However, by you claiming that liberals (or the 'liberal elite' as you call them) want to make pedophilia acceptable and legal is quite wrong and misleading. Many may be liberals and many are not.
If I wanted to make this a left/right thing I could point out that it is generally right-leaning governments who do the most covering up of pedophilia in the establishment they govern.
I'm a trained child protection expert and deal in issue of trafficking and other very unsavory things and work with amazing people, including police forces throughout the world (Scotland yard have some super officers doing a job I could never stomach), NGO's, trauma counsellors, child therapists, attachment specialists, play therapists, local police child protection experts. Overwhelmingly you will find they are more liberal in their political beliefs. However, they are (we are) absolutely dedicated to protecting children and bringing those who commit crimes against children to justice... not one I have met would agree with legalising pedophilia.
So I think your comment is unhelpful.
But the debate is good.
