Stan, more than one person in the thread has pointed out his strengths. We get it.
It's great he's scored goals as well, that wasn't being questioned either was it? Or that
he's a fan favourite? Or he tries hard etc etc.
He didn't do his job yesterday, two massive chances to affect the game in a positive way and he ultimately didn't deliver. I agree he isn't always going to deliver, no player gets 100 percent of things right, but he'd done the hard work winning the ball. He needed to lay it off.
Vaulks was slammed in the match thread and ran his arse off, wasn't that bad, yet people feels comfortable having a pop at him, yet it seems we can't discuss Uche and what he did wrong because, why?
(This isn't arguing fans, it's discussing)
Over a 100 replies, 6 pages and I applaud the 3 posters who used his surname :hehe:
I like him, he's not going to suddenly turn into a skilful player, but he gives us an option if we are chasing a goal at the end of a game.
He's very strong and some defenders just cannot deal with that.
He’s a poor mans LFW
I’d hoped we’d seen the last of this type of striker as we were moving away from hoofball.
I don’t know why defenders engage with him. If I was defending against him I’d just let him have the ball as he’s clueless with what to do with it in open play. I’ve never seen a player at this level make so many wrong choices yesterday. It was Sunday league stuff.
If Morison is fair and consistent then he should be calling him out today for being so useless when he come on yesterday.
I'd rather see him coming on with 15 minutes to go in a game we need a goal, than James Collins tbh.
