He shouldn't be anywhere near this team and I do fear for us.
Playing him just because he is left footed

Either left back where he is terrible or CM where he is equally terrible. Not sure what one is better for us ..

We should definitely have given Lockyer a long-term contact when he was 16 on the off chance that he would come good 12 years later.

Re: BLACKPOOL v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Flashscores has it as Philogene left wing back and Ralls in a midfield 3.
2 up top.

Re: BLACKPOOL v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Philogene playing just behind Kaba and Wickham? Could work

Someone could score in the 7th division after we let them go and someone on here would make a post about it.

He’s been good enough to play in our first team for years.

Yeah, except this time it’s someone who might be playing in the Premier League next season.

I'd like that..he's a handful. But that means Ralls as a wing back

Not true, Ralls played there in the win over the wurzels.

Unless we're playing a back 4 with Ralls in midfield with Wintle and Sawyers.

Lockyer first played in the same division as Cardiff in 2019/20, which was eight years after we released him, and before that he always played a lower level. In our first season in the Premier League, he played for a team that was relegated from League Two. You're criticising the club for not being able to see a decade into the future.

3-1 Rotherham now.
Go on, rain!

I’m criticising a mind set that rejects a good player because he’s not tall enough.

But at the time wasn't good enough.

Lockyer wasn't a good player at the time. That's why he had to drop down to the National League and work his way back up. It's not like he was immediately snapped up by another Championship club.

Commentary saying it's Ralls at LWB and Philogene in the 10 role
Big performance then lads...Joe Ralls make me eat my words

I wouldn’t care if we're wearing dresses as long as we get 3 points.
