The fans deserved that. Shame Hull won.

Fair play, that's a good response after Boxing Day.

Re: FT: WATFORD 1 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Great result. Wasn't going to watch it, but glad I did.

It's the only response. Much tighter today, some good work in stopping Watford playing that's been missing for way to long. Disciplined performance.

Unbelievable, more so if you consider they haven’t lost at home since March! Big game v Coventry now who we have a game in hand over too…same team again

Re: FT: WATFORD 1 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Nice to see some passion from the players and staff at the end with the away fans. Probably the best we’ve played since the Plymouth battering, hopefully we can build on this performance.

Re: FT: WATFORD 1 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Thought we were excellent, Riza got it spot on tactically and everyone worked their socks off. I don’t think there was a bad performance.

Great result, but some will not accept it. Deserved.

Hope O'Dowda’s injury isn’t too bad. Knowing our luck he will be out for months.

Re: FT: WATFORD 1 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Battling performance, bit of pace and application from Ashford and a performance from Robinson made all the difference. Great to see after the last month plus.

Hopefully he will be ok for Wednesday, fantastic result today, what a difference when everyone is battling and competing for every ball
We need this type of performance consistently, great work rate and a deserved 3 points

Re: FT: WATFORD 1 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Credit where it’s due. Great three points away to a side in the play offs. Well done Riza and the lads.

Re: FT: WATFORD 1 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Much much better.
Well done to everyone involved.

Re: FT: WATFORD 1 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Great win. Shows we absolutely do have the players and the squad to stay up and push towards mid table. Totally disagree with those saying it doesn't matter who the manager is as the players are the worst in the league.
I just don't believe qpr derby and milwall are significantly better than us.

I think today showed how important Robinson is, not just the goals but his general play as well. No one else we have can do it, and he’s not even 100% fit.

Re: FT: WATFORD 1 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Brilliant performance today.
Everything we weren't at Oxford.
Manager changed the formation and it worked.
Big shout out to Ashford did so much more than just forward play.
-
Re: FT: WATFORD 1 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I didn’t watch but the bbc stats are interesting. It looks like far more forward passing and we ditched the meaningless play around the back style. We had as many shots and touches in opposition box despite having 27% possession. I hope that continues.

It was noticeable from the off today that the players were all prepared to run and run (as they should be!) and the goal coming so quickly definitely boosted their confidence.
The second goal also came at the right time as heads could have dropped but they ALL did well today, including the subs (Tanner looked very lively)
Good stuff
