Gloating isn't something that interests a Christian, informing those who are heading for disaster is of great interest to them.
And those in a lost eternity will be there because of dark forces, but they will not see them or even their fellow skeptics, as they will be in outer drakness, pitch blackness. Just themselves and their regret.

How do you know I will be in total hell and darkness ?
Have you been to hell or whatever it is ?
You have been reborn ?
Someone has told you ?
Can they provide me with evidence of this hell they are in , have been to or have footage of ?
If God can build mountains and be everywhere , at all times then he must be able to easily show us this place so we can avoid it
He is super intelligent so he will be able to use modern technology to show us all this hell ?
It's a complete waste of time you Christians trying to convert or educate us when he could get up to date and do it in seconds
Because if he can't then clearly he's not really that super intelligent
This is another simple question you guys will avoid or dance around
When it's said religious people live in the dark ages , it's true
3 years I have been waiting for my mother to show me a sign she's gone to heaven
Nothing
She spent 88 years as a Catholic, week in week out and this is how he rewards her

Catholics aren’t proper Christians. Didn’t you know?

You have to be in the cult to be a proper Christian!

Sludge, someone did turn up and provided answers to all your questions. As well you know.

Yes Saul (later Paul) did see it as a cult, and being extremely religious (like many *Roman Catholics are today) thought this new 'cult' [who were then know as 'People of The Way' - later on they were first called "Christians" in Antioch] should be slaughtered; so he saw that as many of them were killed as possible; then after his personal encounter with the Lord on the road to Damascus suddenly realised he was acting against God and not for Him!
* I should also add that a small minority of Roman Catholics do go beyond the pomp & ceremonious religious froth, and do actually have a living relationship with Jesus Christ.

Here you go quoting a dusty old book again
A personal encounter with the lord ?
You are writing this as though it's fact and you were there
How on earth can this lord or God still be present if he's 2500 years old or whatever it is ?
It's impossible to discuss rationally about this silly nonsense when all that can be provided are lines from a book

Re: "I'm convinced that death is not the end for us whatever happens after that"
I came across this interesting quote:
"Its crazy how people deal with sources.
Someone favourable to a guy writes a history? Well we can't really trust him, he's biased.
Someone unfavourable to a guy writes a history? Well we can't really trust him, he's biased.
A guy himself records his deeds: well we can't really trust him he's obviously biased".
It's in response to a question about Caesar's Gallic Wars but equally applicable to the Bible I would say. Substitute the apostle Paul for the guy in the third example and Jesus for one and two.

Caesar wrote the self-aggrandising account of the Gallic Wars himself (or via a tent full of scribes).
Jesus didn't write anything. The gospels were written between 30 and 80 years after his death. Some historians claim that one or two of the authors were witnesses to the events they 'describe'; other historians are certain that none of them knew Jesus or witnessed the events. Either way there is a massive gap in time followed by endless mistranslation and propagandising.
In Caesar's case we can be pretty confident that the words that have come down to us are what he intended - although the whole piece is propaganda. Anyone who treats it as an honest account is deluded. Same with the book of magic acts!

Read the quotation and my comments again carefully:
I didn't say Jesus himself wrote anything - Paul (and various other writers) did.
I made no comment about Caesar's Gallic Wars per se. It's irrelevant in a way. Let's be honest here – we all have our own world view and naturally we look to sources which bolster our particular view point.

You have a faith born out of a book
We all love Cardiff City and sometimes have FAITH that we are going to win a particular game but a lot of the time we are crap and lose
The last 20 games ......we have won 3 of them
That's crap
And that's a FACT
Yesterday we drew with Plymouth , we got a point and have 33 in total .........FACT
Apparently lots of people have found God etc etc .....but not one of them has a photo , a tape recording of any conversation , video film etc .......NO FACTS
No evidence of God , no evidence of angels , heaven , hell , nothing
If Christians were in court trying to prove the existence of their God etc they would be thrown out or the case would be dismissed
A book isn't evidence , telling someone I believe so that's enough isn't evidence , the fact lots of mostly poor and uneducated people around the world believe in God isn't evidence of God's existence , it's evidence of human fragility, frailty and fear
I am not looking forward to death but it's inevitable and if any just 1 of the millions , millions and millions of Christians who have died would have entered heaven they would have surely used God's apparently incredible power and intelligence to contact us and make sure we pray like monks to join them ......live a good life , pray and you will not only meet God but have eternal life
What a better world we would have
Same goes for Islam , The Mormons , Buddhists etc
But there's always a yeah but no but etc etc clause that says believe us , do this and you can come along 😉
It's absolutely preposterous

Wot he said ^^^
But Christianity is all about faith. Happy is the man who has not seen and yet believes. Truthpaste would know this better than anyone.
Yes, there may be evidence that a man called Jesus once lived who claimed to be the son of God and that some of the other stories in the bible actually happened. But that doesn’t mean to say all the rest of it is true. There is no proof that God exists. End of.

If you'd spend half the time doing proper research on the resurrection of Jesus Christ as you have random ideas on YouTube then you'd know the answer by now; instead you point to the ramblings of a man who can only see that religion is a busted flush.
-
Re: "I'm convinced that death is not the end for us whatever happens after that"
If you think that a bloke called jesus died 2000 plus years ago then rose from the dead you are completely insane
Nobody has ever died then been reborn
The closest we have to that is when a heart stops beating and a highly experienced medical team with modern drugs and equipment restarts the heart
But not overnight
People don't die then overnight start breathing again
It's a silly fairy story

No proof , nothing
Some people thought Jeremy Corbyn was a visionary and he definitely lived , we saw him on the telly , at the rallies
But he wasn't special

Why are many Catholics sad to see that the Pope may be dying? Surely Heaven is a far better place and a departure for that blissful place is something to be celebrated.

my favourite theory on the other JC is that Jesus and Jesus Barabas could have been the same person.
Taking this from a starting point of assuming that there is no magic version of Jesus - but that he's an actual historical Jewish figure who was co-opted into being a deity after his death. I understand that some may fundamentally disagree with that, but please humour me.
So Barabbas means "son of the father" - and isn't it just a bit too much of a coincidece that 2 men named Jesus also know as the son of the father were crucified on the same day.
Also as good as jesus' message sounds even today, it seems unlikely that the whole "be excellent to each other" vibe is enough alone to gather much of a following - certainly not enough to flourish into a major world religion.
Some accounts state that Jesus Barabbas was a leader of a Jewish rebellion against Roman occupation - throughout history this is the kind of figure that is far more likely to gather a large following and hero worship than some do-gooder.
Think about all the people throughout history that have had a date system based on them - they've mostly been military leaders, or leaders of great empires.
Could it be possible that Jesus was a charismatic leader of a Jewish rebellion against Roman occupation and corruption in the Jewish elite - he was caught and executed but his followers thought fomr some reason that he would return to help end the occupation.
Many years later he still has a following, so his life story is rewritten to become more divine and less guerilla fighter, in order to be more fitting as the head of the religion it was becoming.
Could have happened that way.
alternatively the story of Jesus Barabas could have been made up entirely as a contrast to Jesus christ

Interesting theory.
Mine is that there were a number of charismatic leaders of groups trying to overthrow the Roman occupation and several charismatic leaders who (for a time) were allowed by the Romans to undermine their message and effectiveness.
'Render unto Caesar what is Caesar's' (pay your taxes and stop moaning or rebelling) and telling people to keep their heads down because they will get their reward once they are dead, would be music to the ears of the Roman colonial administration.
Put a load of magic mushrooms and other mind altering drugs into the mix - along with an oral tradition of borrowed myths and prophesies - and you have a new cult convinced of supernatural events. By an accident of history this cult becomes the religion of the Roman Empire and we end up with the legacy of that today.

You must be buying a lot of mushrooms to maintain such a stance, not to mention denial of selected historical events.
Rome and the Catholic Church is simply a false flag, and the answer has nothing to do with them and everything to do with the Man constantly on the lips of Gordan Ramsay and every other blaspheming individual.

Re: "I'm convinced that death is not the end for us whatever happens after that"
SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - What happens when we die? Does our soul survive bodily death? Scientists and experts point to evidence that death is not the end and that our soul lives on connecting with loved ones who have passed on.
......Panagore experienced what researchers call a near-death experience (NDE) which Dr. Jeffrey Long, who studies these experiences, described as a lucid experience occurring at the time of a severe life-threatening event. He founded the Near-Death Research Foundation in 1988 and said there is evidence proving these experiences are real.
Getting Answers:
Does our soul survive bodily death?
