Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
Alnwick's passing had been poor which is a surprise as it's normally a strength

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
Really quiet and slow so far. El Ghazi looks very half hearted about it all !

Ashford would be better suited to the switch of play

Ashford in half time….ajax guy looking decent

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
Oxford vs Portsmouth game interrupted, not sure why?

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
That Armstrong would be a massive help here.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
Slow start, not much quality on show.
I think (hope) it’ll kick into gear when someone gets the first goal. Conditions are ripe for quick breaks and silly mistakes.

The one we've tried several times already but hasn't come off

I haven’t seen anything that would have come off if it was Ashford.
It’s all pretty lacklustre

Bristol City fans have been very critical of him. They complain about his lack of end-product.

They’ll know better than I will but he looks very fast and strong

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
Very slow but at least we ve not conceded .

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
The most boring derby for some time

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
Dullsville.
Very disappointing attendance/atmosphere compared to the derby against the JBs.

Absolutely Jon, the problem is that we haven't created anything in the final third....... :hehe:

Yeah, he was for QPR too. I think Bristol City paid decent money for him, he just hasn't delivered for them (not wanting to tempt fate).

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
This Bristol City outfit are poor, slow in possession and no quality in the final third, they really are there for the taking. We've defended alright, but can't get on the ball in midfield, there's way to much space in the centre of the pitch. And we don't create anything.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
We are too slow on our buildup. I'm not sure if it's how Riza wants us playing but he wants colwill to stay right and Robinson yo drop in on the left but it's making it too easy to defend.
El Ghazi has been really poor so far.
Began doing well at the back and I do like the look of Alves and Mansveerk

I just hope we are following the SW derby script.... and we're going to explode into life and goals in the second half.
The beauty of half time is that there is still time to dream!
Ashford, Willock, Sallech and Ramsey incoming?
4 - 2 - 4 is the way to go!

Medical incident. One of the spectators has been taken to hospital.
Game restarted after 20 minutes

Despite their relatively decent league position, their fans have said it's the most mind-numbing football they've witnessed for years. They complain about endless, and pointless, passing about.
All sounds a bit familiar, eh...

Those three the have played well. Ng also had a decent half. The yellow cards for Goutas and Mansveerk could be a problem 2nd half. Again we seem happy to let the opposition win first balls, and only occasionally do we compete for second balls. Need much more from the attacking players.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v BRISTOL CITY. Match thread
Good start to the second half. Alves looks class and I think there’s more to come from Mansveerk
