No Bob. Why, is it only Corbyn who has been criticised by the media is it? Have you looked why they did it? The guy didn't even control his own party. He lost MP after MP, he had his own members saying not to vote for him, he was a weak leader, people didn't trust him on the international stage, he had some extremely dodgy pals, few trusted him on the economy and most British Jews thought he enabled antisemitism.
All of that stuff was going to be (and rightly so) reported on, and when he was confronted on it he handled it badly. There was no grand conspiracy against him.
As I said earlier, the media are too negative and too sensational and like a character assassination but the idea it was some big conspiracy or that it was just done to Corbyn is absolutely false.

The fact you picked Farage (is it true that the BBC programme’s name was changed to Nigel Farage’s Question Time a few years ago?) out as someone comparable to Corbyn is hilarious. Come on, admit it - you were having a laugh weren’t you?

How on earth is it having a laugh? It's an entirely legitimate example and why isn't it? They are both politicians who look to upset the status quo. You think he gets a good press, isn't subject to abuse? You think Boris wasn't? You think Liz Truss or Teresa May aren't? Or Trump, or Diane Abbott..the list goes on and on. That UKIP example I gave is a shocking example but demonstrates that media criticism goes far far beyond Corbyn. You havent acknowledged the criticisms by the way. Of course the media will pick up on them.
This happened in an election year. Do you think reporting on it is some big conspiracy from the media?

Yeah it points to something wider and more worrying an abuse of power. Innocent until proven guilty etc but its one that sounds terrible so far

Re: How do Labour voters feel about the party at the moment?
They should throw the book at him if he’s guilty - if he is, then I find it very hard to believe that there weren’t at least suspicions about his behaviour within the Labour Party.

Friend of mine worked with him a little when he was mayor of the West of England. Never said anything remotely close to this but didn't speak that highly of him..more a case of finding him a bit dull/uninspiring etc.
Ironically enough I think he was viewed as a safe pair of hands against Moggy, who presumably would be a front runner for a dramatic return in any by-election if it came to that.

I doubt that. He's fannying about on GB news, enjoying himself - and the Tory Party is in toxic disarray.

If/when there is a by election there my guess is that the Lib Dems v Reform will be the story.
Labour have tanked since the election (even from their shallow % vote then); the Tories are rudderless and down two points from their 'worst ever' result. Labour and Tories both damaged goods.
Reform have surged but are maybe tarnished by the Lowe-Farage feud and tying themselves to the Trump train, and the Lib Dems are lurking in fourth but have improved their status and reputation since the election - and are likely to hoover up Labour (and maybe Green) votes.

Anybody get a letter about power cuts in Wales?

Yeah that's a fair point. It may be interesting actually. Typically from a left perspective that kind of area would more be your Libby greeny types than Labour. In fact looking at the result I was quite surprised to see how low they were, but I think there was a degree of a co-ordination to try and get the scalp of Rees-Mogg.
Likewise more of a Tory area than Reform I think. Could actually be very interesting...if one happens of course.

And once that's been done we have to listen to Yvette Cooper talking total rubbish
The current labour government don't seem to have any presence at all

She was on BBC breakfast this morning being grilled on the small boat arrivals, which are you 25% year on year.

It got worse under the last government too. What would your solution be? You can go do one if you think the Rwanda scheme was a good idea.

Maybe the solution is what your boys did with the rape gangs, sweep it under the table and pretend the problem doesn't exist.

Oh, FFS. What kind of a response is that? We're talking about immigration.
And my boys? I've stated many times on the message board, I'm in my 50s and I've voted for Labour just once in my whole life. I am not affiliated to any political party and never have been. They're all cnuts at the end of day and I will call them all out as and when needed (and I do). Same when it comes to Israel vs their surrounding Islamic countries. I don't take sides on any of this.
