I'm not on twitter , Facebook etc . Does Purse get vitriolic stick. I dont think I've ever seen it on here.?

If only we could have had someone of Purse's character and commitment during this season.

Try the 'other board'.

The thing we have missed more than anything.

In this very thread regarding Purse, Ramusat and Shaw: "****ed off hopefully and when they get there hope they **** off a little further."
Purse gets grief on the other board.

Re: Riza sacked. Aaron Ramsey takes charge
When Riza announced who does what Ramasut was named as the defensive coach

Re: Riza sacked. Aaron Ramsey takes charge
the Welsh rugby team are struggling right now, i'm pretty confident Darren Purse could coach them on how to tackle.

I'm not so sure.
After all, they're both getting on a bit.

Why wouldn’t you?
Slades signings were probably the worst the club has seen.

That's debatable.

I’d still take them over Daland.

Cardiff City FC can confirm that a decision has been taken to relieve Omer Riza of his duties as First Team Manager.
Aaron Ramsey will lead the Club for the remaining three games of the Sky Bet Championship season, beginning with Monday’s match at home to Oxford United.
Chris Gunter, Joe Ralls, Tom Hutton and Matthew Bloxham will join Aaron in the technical area.
We’d like to thank Omer for his passion and effort during his time as Cardiff City manager and wish him the very best for his next steps in the game.
Way too late, at least a month

I'm sure the reference to Bellamy's approval was talking about Gunter's appointment. Hoovered, I expect you knew that and were just trying to be funny.

Feels a little harsh, he didn't make that many and they were all on the cheap. He was having to compensate for the massive overspending seen under Ole

You’re right, he signed at the end of Ole’s time here didn’t he.
Semi Ajayi should have made us a lot of money and we did make a big profit on Zohore who was a great signing for a year or so.

For a while I was non-plussed about Purse as a player. However, two incidents stood out in my mind which eventually endeared him to me.
The first was a game at Ninian Park, during which nothing was going right for him, he was playing as if his laces had been tied together.
Suddenly, we were awarded a penalty... Purse sprinted 40-50 yards, grabbed the ball and scored!
A lesser person would have shyed away from the responsibility. I think (I might be wrong) we won the game as a result of the penalty?
The second incident that got me liking him was when a rather overzealous referee instructed Purse to remove his wedding ring moments before kick-off. Even though the ring was taped up, the ref wasn't having it. Purse chose not to play, rather than take off his wedding ring. A man of true values and priorities in my opinion. I seem to recall he had the support of Dave Jones at that time.
My favourite. Leeds away. Purse was injured and in the crowd with us. Gabor made a mistake and someone shouted something like, you’re useless Purse. At this point Purse stands up & says I’m not even on the pitch & I still get the blame.
