I don't know anything about the lad. Glad it's a 3 year deal. Bodes well. No 9 shirt. He's a tall lad. We're talking tall here. I must admit, this is fun and better than it's been for a while. Onto match 2 it is. I may actually enjoy this season. :ayatollah:

starting XI against Norwich was 26.7 average age

last season average we did field a 23.8 in the 1:1 draw with Birmingham.

Back in 19/20 we were in the high 29s average

As long as he doesn't turn into a damp squib like Steve Thompson did. After his two debut goals against Burnley, I said to my mate next to me that we'd finally got ourselves a top striker. Should have kept my mouth shut.

Very excited with this signing. Could be unearthing a gem..

SM deserves a lot of credit, I can’t remember being this enthusiastic about a transfer window…he seems to have brought in experience, character, quality, and the players are buying into the vision. All on a shoestring budget, literally.

I think we’re dark horses…

Before I make any more Fowpas can someone please enlighten me regarding the current status of the "could of" versus "could have" situation. The incorrect use of "could of" has always irritated me but I will abide by the CCMB ruling if I am out of step here.
