Why do you persist with this? You can't pick the same 11 every week. Why do you think Ralls didn't play Wednesday but is playing today? "Tinkering"? Is it possible he's not fit enough to play 3 games in 8 days?

Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
All those years of no double, we’ll have another one this season and probably next too, if we stay up.
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Surprised no one has mentioned Ojo. We’ve played with 9 for 40 minutes. I’m in the Harris on camp.

Robinsons cost us here. And out for three games. It’s as bad as it gets.
Why’s Nelson starting, and why’s Nkounkou getting paid to play football? That’s half our defence.
Kipre could’ve gone for that handball
And should’ve been a pen.
And we’re expecting Ojo to lead the line???? Get him off, I’m done with him as well, he’s lazy and shit.
New manager please.

His attempted clearance went straight to a Swansea player which led to their goal. All academic after the sending off, but all the same I'm at a loss how he keeps getting to start.

Ojo has largely gone missing once again.
We're lucky not to be 4-0 down, 2 clear chances and a penalty and that's the scoreline if they're all taken.
A reflection of how poor we really are defensively.

A brickie lays bricks
A carpenter cuts wood
A footballer should be able to play football ! They did in my day, with heavier pitches, leather footballs and terrible tackles.
They should be able to play 3 games a week

It’s a different game to what it was in ‘your day’

Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
If Bagan isn't fit I'd play Tom Davies instead of Nkounku. Can't be worse

Seems like you are confident we won't concede further Bob!

Absolurely, and i'm sure that we would all agree that morally, it would be a loss, as refereeing standards are very poor and we should point that out when poor decisions go in our favour, i'm sure all would agree.

Apart from better pitches, lighter footballs and more protection for players, in what way is it different ?

Not much moaning on here about it’s not been given, which is normal.

The players are faster and stronger. The speed of the game is quicker. You can't play hungover, you can't carry a knock, you can't be overweight or unfit. Some players need rest.

Harris is better as an impact sub if you ask me.
Given that Ojo has done his usual disappearing act, he's getting on a bit earlier than he probably would have done.
We need better players on the right for sure.

Think Hudson likes Ojo more than Morison did.

You’ve answered my question, if players are stronger, fitter, faster, why do they need a rest ?

Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
ref might lose his marbles here
this could end up with 8 men each

Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
That Cundle challenge is more dangerous than what Robinson did. I’m not saying it wasn’t a red but it’s frustrating. We could've beat these today.

Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Useless ref… is this the best they could find to ref a massive derby. Absolutely shockingly ineffective.

These modern players are clueless. If you want revenge, bide your time and then do a number on your opponent later in the game.

Because the opposition are too. Faster pace, more running. It's pretty obvious why they need rest
