So in conclusion out of 4 or 5 people in this thread who say man made climate change isn't happening, not a single one could answer what scientists say is the the physical process that is causing climate change and what about that process they disagree with.
They were asked 10 times and all they could do was divert. The question above should be the foundation of their denialism but there isn't even one attempt to answer it.
So to sum up, it is more clear than ever that these people don't have a clue and should be ignored like the nutjobs they are, pre-internet they'd be in the pub corner by themselves and ignored but now mental illness like this can congregate.
I won't post in this thread again as it's utterly pointless trying to convince people like these. Just have to let nature take its course and wait them out.

I think the bit Doucas is struggling with is around the link you sent to Bob (not him) from the Met Office site which gave a very lucid description of the case for man made climate change.
The bit where he seems to be tearing his hair out with your evasion and distraction is you setting out your rationale for the second bit of the question. Why you don't think it is correct?
If you did that I am sure he would go away with his tail between his legs.

It’s not a case of making him go away with his tail between his legs , at the same time ,the answer his is looking for has been provided in a link, together with a Twitter post that is more my thinking. No point going into detail when the person asking the question has just installed 30 years old tech.
Unless you’re in an purposefully built new home the whole eco drive is unattractive and expensive to most.

Climate change is real and it has been occurring for around 4.54 billion years, so I am not sure why certain people are calling others climate change deniers. The issue is the current use of climate change as a method to implement more restrictions and control, a bit like the C19 restrictions and control, but this time on steroids.

Had a laugh at this picture, Heathy. I was jovially tucking away a few smooth ales last night in The Counting House pub and this very man popped up in casual conversation. Some chap in front of me raised the Milibands in conversation with his chum, and the question went like this:

And that was that. A few of us had a laugh on that one. To be fair, he had a valid point. I think once Labour are back in, big brother Dai Mili-Dweeb will be back too, sniffing for a role. Blairite. And a grifter. He won't want to do any hard work for the election. Just wait for the win, and then call Starmer to get a job like "Minister Without Portfolio" or some nonsense title. He'll suddenly decide he doesn't want to "do charity" anymore for 500k a year and will want a whiff of power again. Very charitable.

Aw come on Jon, compared to the namby pamby “experts” who bleat on constantly about how the planet is warming thanks to man made interventions, pointing out that televised weather forecasts portray the same temperatures in a different colour than they did thirty years ago is pretty compelling stuff. Similarly, don’t you realise that the temperatures recorded on continental Europe over the past ten days or so are, apparently, ground temperatures, so they don’t really count.
Also, you make the mistake of not realising that we’re fortunate enough to have a few posters on here who know everything about everything except, perhaps, the meaning of the term “sorry, it turns out I was wrong there”.

I'd like to confirm after having a quick Jog up to Screwfix this morning, it's pissing down with rain, as it was when i woke at 06.55 this morning and the temperature is probably average for this time of the year, maybe the damper Infront of the sun needs stoking ?.

I had a tradesperson :biggrin: at the house yesterday doing some work for me, 1st job back a holiday in Spain, and was surprised at the kerfuffle over the temp, it was very warm but nothing out of the ordinary. A - You think all the reports by the scientific community and world media of climate change (and average world temperature sharp rises) are a lie, invented and malicious - designed to dupe the sheeple into accepting a new WEF led bunker dictatorship (the Organ Morgan world-view), or
B - You think there is such a thing as climate change and that average temperatures are rising but that is just what happens and has happened since the Big Bang - no human accelerator involved so just sit in the shade a bit more, or
C - You accept that the climate is being changed in a dangerous direction partly as a result of human actions, but the measures proposed to put a break on that, and save several billions of people from adverse effects of drought and rising sea levels are way too inconvenient and anyway it rained yesterday?
