Possible that he goes in the summer?

I just think of you are going to go with the straight talking, no nonsense approach then you should call out some senior players too otherwise it makes you look a bit of bully when you’re only doing it to the young lads.
Take the Bournemouth game for example. He defended Bacuna and called Isaak a hinderance. Surely going down to 10 man because Bacuna assaulted a player was more of a hinderance!!!
Just because Uche is on loan shouldn’t matter, we are paying his wages and he’s our player for another 3 months.
I've been pretty one sided in defending defending SM against things he's said because I believed in what I was saying.
He hooked Watters because he wasn't doing his job (his words) and he wants points on the board so made changes to affect the game positively..
Uche, our player or not had 2 golden opportunities to do something productive and change a draw into a win, he made the wrong one both times, SM should definitely lay it out fair and why not the same way he's done it to our youngsters?
You can't just be a straight talker when it suits you.
If that’s Mark Harris or Max Watters who make those poor choices yesterday SM is saying we should have had all 3 points if they had made better decisions wether he is prompted or not.
Personally, unless someone is fully walking around like they don’t give a shit like a Bacuna I don’t want to see anyone called out in public. I don’t think long term it helps. By all means lay into them behind closed doors if they are not doing what was asked of them but I think he goes too far with the public criticism on times.
I'd be very surprised if Morison doesn't call him out on the two chances he had to lay the ball off. I'd assume the squad would watch the game together on Mondays these days no?
if Uche is available for 750k in the summer I'd be fine with us signing him as an option from the bench - especially if we could offload Collins for a similar amount to someone.
Don't want either as a first choice striker though
From what Morison has said previously there is a full squad review of the previous match - clips prepared by the analysts covering the good, bad and ugly. There are also individual review meetings with one player and members of the coaching team - of the sort he has described with Davies, Colwill and Watters.
I hope the same approach is used for older team members and loan players - backed up by tailored coaching sessions. Morison may feel that there is more value in investing time and effort in younger players who will be here next season and beyond, and who are learning and developing in front of us, but most of the squad are capable of better performances than they have normally produced this season. Vaulks, Nelson and even Bacuna have had games (half games in Bacuna's case this season) where they have played well - but then they lose concentration, play to their weaknesses not strengths, start making soft decisions, or (criminally) stop trying.
They all have an A game and if they produced it more often, despite their limitations, most fans would back them - not slaughter them on message boards. Morison doesn't have to publicly 'call them out' (not for the academy graduates either), but he cannot let it go either.
What Boro want and what they will get from us are two very different valuations I would imagine. We haven’t got a pot to piss in, we won’t be spending 750k on a back up striker and there certainly won’t be any clubs prepared to pay 750k for James Collins.
He was a free last year and now can’t get in our squad so how you think we could get 750k for him I don’t know? A spot of Sunday lunchtime drinking maybe?
