Re: CARDIFF CITY v BURNLEY. Match thread
If we would have had 11 players on the pitch, we could have won that game !

Did anyone see the foul on Romeo by their goal scorer just before he put the ball in the net?
Also, one of their players was on the goal line, but that’s not offside, is it?

On a different note it was so nice to see a player look absolutely *overjoyed* at scoring, he was so PLEASED!

No doubt getting the first goal was playing on his mind after the pen kiss, good goal as well.

I don’t think we’ve got the players to improve things, we can just hope that Hudson has enough about him to keep nicking the odd win and away from the bottom 3 until January when he may be able to offload a few and bring in a decent left back and 2 strikers.
What are you on about. We have just totally rebuilt the squad and signed 17 new players and now you are on about ‘offloading a few’. We are eleven games in for goodness sake. Plus, have you ever considered the fact that teams might look ordinary against us because of the way we play against them ? Its not rocket science.

Personally, I think we've had almost 5+ years to replace the likes of Harris with better players, and it frustrates me that we haven't. It's been that long that fans have considered him not good enough.
Why are we still carrying players like that on our books?
Harris could have regular football and a great career at a lower level for sure. He has the work rate, no question of that. He doesn't have the technical ability for this league though, and there's no question about that either.
Mark Harris reminds me of a player we had in the early 80's called Tarki Micallef. A busy player who ran around a lot without being much of a goal threat before ending up in the lower leagues and here at Barry Town.

I still can't make my mind up about the "foul". Romeo goes down pretty hard, but so far, I haven't seen anything conclusive about how.

If you mean the player that was out by the edge of the 6 yard box, I assume that wouldn't have been interfering with play so not offside.
