A case of fowl play, perhaps.

Not sure what the club can say to dispel rumours. They can't deny they're happening, they can't deny offers have been made because they have, but I doubt Garry Otto etc. would welcome Dalman publicly admitting negotiations are ongoing. And I doubt Tan would want public confirmation with the Sala case coming up in September - I think that's a definite.
Is it 7pm tonight he means?
ok enuff of the BS
Personally I couldn't care less about being personally insulted, some things that are said are quite funny. However, I find the constant digs about being a 'multi' a bit boring and desperate. So what if someone has more than on online persona? Debate should be about what is said and not about who said it.
My gut feeling is that they’re going to come out and say Tan was mulling over the offers and has rejected them, confirming his commitment to getting us back into the Championship and Premier League. And something about there being many offers in the past but not seeing the need to update the fans on every single one. And how this particular offer was a little more nefarious because things were being leaked.
I get the feeling he will say there are multiple offers, but buying a football club is very complex, so they are still in the negotiating stage and taking legal advice. We'll let you know if anything progresses. Vincent and the board are still committed to winning promotion and running the business for the time being. In other words, we know where we are, and all he can do is confirm we have had multiple offers and are considering them. They are only making a statement because the trust and other fans are asking for one.
"Still committed to winning promotion"? With four days to go before the league season starts, I see very little sign of that at the moment. All of this takeover talk has been a godsend for Tan ans co because it's taken attention off how little they're doing to give BBM, his tiny coaching team and a squad significntly down in numbers the best opportunity to get us back into the Championship.
As I've said before, without an influx of players who are natural leaders and/or defenders, we're relying on BBM being a genius and the kids who step into the team being good enough to bring about a significant improvement in standards while the club operates on what is heavily rumoured to be a much reduced budget. Tan may be "committed" to winning promotion, but, so far, that's just words from a club where all of the glaring structural faults that were being pointed out at the back end of last season remain in place.
