Rhys Thomas plays at Man City, thought the lad Leeds poached looked decent too

Under 21s in action at one o clock - there should be a stream of it for anyone who wants to watch.
Don't understand why players like Campbell and Denham (if he's fit) are not playing the odd game for Darren Purse's team and you would have thought Ebou Adams would have had some game time with them by now, same with Etete.

Here's the stream https://youtu.be/PaolG2m1R4o
But we’ve been hearing how well Adams has been doing for weeks.
After an awful start, City have settled now and are one up thanks to Tom Davies’ finish to James Crole’s good near post cross. Lovely move just now and Isaac Jefferies should have made it two.
Very fussy ref I’m afraid.
1-0 half time. Decent game so far, City have had a few narrow escapes (shot against the post, good chance missed early on), but it’s been as good a performance as I have seen from them so far this season up to now.
Men against boys so far second half, not sure how experienced this Reading side are but look far more physical and City struggling to get out of their own half
They’ve been a Category One team for a good few years, but they must have reverted to Category Two this season because of their financial problems. It’s the first time we’ve been in the same league as them for a decade and more. They beat us1-0 at home earlier in the season and have won four and lost one so far - they’re also completely on top in the second half and an equaliser has to be on the cards.
Somehow, we’re 2-0 up - very good goal on the break though with fine, unselfish work by sub Morgan Wigley to set up Jack Leahy.
Brilliant counter attack goal, Crole looks like a useful player every time I watch the u21’s and a rare moment of quality in this half from Wigley to stay calm and set up an easy finish.
Not sure if it’s just the way we’ve been forced to setup due to Reading being on top, but doesn’t look anything like the style the first team are being asked to play. More Warnock than Morison.
And there goes the stream…
finished 2-1
Finished 2-1. Good result
The stream never came back, but City won 2-1 with Reading having a player sent off late on.
U18s playing this morning https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news...t-green-rovers
u23’s have got the Jacks at home tomorrow afternoon at Leckwith
Should be a good game ⚽️👍
Bagan and Tanner start for City
https://twitter.com/cf11academy/stat...oO1zfc0xlT06cw
has Bagan been injured
Yes, according to Hudson prior to the Wigan game, although that was the first I’d heard of it
1-0 to City, Crole after being set up by Antwi - open game so far with chances at both ends.
Brilliantly checked run by Crole and a useful finish, although I don't think the goalie covered himself in glory with his angle and positioning. Crole must be around the first team soon, he's the best player on the pitch every time I watch the u21s including any squad players.
Swansea GK is shocking... penalty to City
Penalty to City, Crole scores after being fouled by a keeper very slow to leave his line. Swansea dominating possession and unlucky to be two down.
Penalty scored by Swansea, then a straight red for a punch on our keeper!
Well that's the most obvious sending off I've seen in a while
Penalty to Swansea, soft hand ball - 2-1. Swansea then have a player sent off!
City might actually have some of the ball now they’re up against ten.
At the moment I turned on Swansea were scoring a pen and our goalie was being punched and player sent off.
Now that's what I call a Derby.
City winning 2-1
That was coming.
2 - 2
2-2 - sorry to be negative, but I think we’ve been rubbish so far.
Why did he punch the keeper? Lol
2-2, Swansea by far the better footballing side. You look at the 2 center backs we've got in from other clubs, Benjamin at least seems decent defensively but a lot of balls just being hoofed down the field for Swansea to come back at us. Which is disappointing with the extra man.
Laughably bad referee. Looks miles out of his depth even at this level.
As they just said on the stream, miss of the season for Swansea - Purse needs to read them the riot act at half time.
2-2 half time.
Don't think you'd complain if it was 5 or 6 for Swansea, their striker has had an absolute nightmare. Other than Crole, a very poor lightweight performance all over the park.
