If you take it in turns to spend time with an old granny together with family members .....that's not the same as being a single parent of a disabled child that you and you alone are responsible for
I go to the football and go to gigs and go fishing a lot more these days but it's not as much as it was and when I was a full time , full on 24 hour carer I simply didn't have time to myself as its too exhausting and you catch up on sleep
If you see granny a few nights a week or go shopping for her now and again that's great but it's not caring for her in the way some people have to . If you share custody of your daughter you share responsibility and therefore are not having to care for her 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week . If your daughter was in a wheelchair and you didn't have an ex wife to split things then you might have an idea of what you think is a caring role .
I care about my aunty in neath who drinks too much and I see her in the holidays but I am not responsible for her .
I can't be any clearer than that . Now get your money out or you go in the bad room with the rest of them .
You presume a lot don't you.
Fair play to you.
If this and if that.
You don't know the situation you are trying to discuss: thumbup:
You are ruining this board. I could not post again for months and it wouldn't change anything, I reckon if you had a self imposed hiatus the place would brighten up considerably. You force your views repeatedly and don't give an inch in discussions, you're right they're wrong etc, and when you are given facts you belittle people.
You are spitting fire at the wrong people, you obviously carry a lot of anger and resentment around with you, but you are using the wrong people to take it out on. Go and speak to a professional.

What do you intend doing or are we going to get 6 months of crap then you will vanish again ?
Get your money out
I bought 2 people outside Tesco express food in Manchester Saturday night.
That's about it for me, I've got a holiday in new York to pay for.

That's why you have been away
You have had a bad patch
Nothing to be ashamed of but you can't lecture others without doing the same
You spent months on here whipping things up then vanished then came back
You get from me what you give out , I think you are fake

If I am running myself into a early grave and the likes of you ....from up your way , behind your keyboard .....continually ring the bell that says scrounger then you are going to get a reaction . I mean what else do you expect ?
I even had you and your chum telling me what benefits I was on at one point .
Let's discuss what you do for work ? Come on Tom Jones . And your bank balance .

I wouldnt expect someone who worked to take the bait so easily. If someone persistently called me a work shy scrounger I would just laugh because ive worked 30 years straight since leaving school and never been out of work. So why would it wind me up? It wouldnt.
Obviously, in your case, the truth hurts.

Re: Mental Health Amongst The Homeless
Kinell, this must rank as the most venemous thread I've viewed here during the past 21 years. Others that became too personal were locked as they risked descending to the level of abuse that has peppered this discussion.
About the only insult that hasn't been hurled is the ultimate one; that of being an admirer of Swansea City FC. But the way it's going I'll give it till half eight tonight before somebody's dismissed as a Jack kent.

Put the phone down or keyboard away Sludge, this is pitiful to witness.
Go and have a brew, you’re obviously getting yourself into an unnecessary emotional state.
