What you have written is correct.
Lots of people say " shitload " instead of shedload.

Gorillas instead of Guerrillas. When my sister Sandra was in her early twenties she really believed on hearing talk about guerrillas fighting in Africa on the news - that they were referring to Gorillas. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/hehe.gif

This bloke I work with once said "they can take their job and they can shove it up my arse"
That always makes me laugh.
Re: Sayings That People Get Wrong
My mate was having a row with someone who continually puts him down. He told her to stop treating him like a second class idiot.
I pointed out he was a first class one. I guess he was trying to say second class citizen or an idiot and got lost between the two.

Don't blame him - if you are going to be an idiot, much better to be a first class one than a second class one. Otherwise he has even failed at being an idiot. http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/hehe.gif

Re: Sayings That People Get Wrong
The "can I get" thing makes my blood boil.
Others I loathe are; excessive us of "in terms of" and "going forward". Why do people feel the need to use such nonsensical phrases in work? You would use them at home. "Hi love, so going forward in term of tea are we having chips or rice?".
"Oh my days" is another phrase that should be grounds to re-introduce corporal punishment (unless you are a 70 year old black woman from New Orleans). "My bad" equally so.
My current winner though is "I swear down".
This whole issue could be solved if we just converted the doors of every Sports Direct to be entry only. Once inside there is no chance of exit. Then when they reach full capacity we burn them all to the ground; using morning drinkers from nearby Whetherspoons for kindling.
