Yes, mainly because we are too linked into recent operations WITH the USA, and the USA is for the first time - from the top- going back on the essential (Genesis 12:1-2) support for Israel. Our government isn't that far behind their attitude to Israel either.

I've known quite a lot of Russians over the years and they've often got quite (almost British) reserved personalities and very dry senses of humour. I've thought many of them to be very surly when I've first met them but then got to really like them - but it's taken perhaps a week or so to realise this. A lot of people think this about the British too.
