Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 3 - 0 SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
I do think we got lucky with the ref slightly and thought he did very well
For example. Deliberate handball by Ralls to stop play.
Could have been a yellow and then could have been targeted from therein.
The amount of positivity I feel following the game is immense and I hope the rest of the players and fans feel the same.

I almost felt sorry for Ronald
Rinomhota absolutely destroyed him if it was a boxing match it would have been stopped it was such a brutal take down of a player. I doubt he’ll sleep for a week
Also Chambers was head and shoulders above any body else out there - totally dominant and ably supported by Ralls. We’ve never beaten them in midfield since they’ve come back but today was fantastic

To be fair to the Swansea lad who collided with Riza ... there appeared to be no intent. I'll have to watch the clip again.
Hmm, not sure about that, it looked intentional to me. They really lost it at the final whistle, very little handshaking. Meite went up to a Swansea player and held his hand out and the Swansea player waved him away - Meite patted him on the head and then it all went off again. no, they weren't a happy bunch at all..

Watch it again. It was deliberate alright - see the brief smirk on the guy's face as he gets the anticiated reaction from Riza.
I wasn't there but my two lads and two of my grandsons were, and they said that the ground was bouncing towards the end. Always nice to beat the Jacks of course. Couldn't believe the final score! Hopefully this will be a huge confidence-builder for City. Onwards and upwards.......

This fixture is always a must-win for the Jacks, it being their cup final. Hence not happy with a 3-0 defeat.

Best home atmosphere at the final whistle than I've seen in a long time.

Yes! Automatic promotion here we come.

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 3 - 0 SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
Apart from the Goutas goal, it was noticeable how much better our corners were, than they had been all season. Caused Swansea problems all game.
Some one posted on here during the week that City were working on corners. Certainly looked like that today.

Rinomhota was superb as were most in the second half but he didn't put a foot wrong and looked like he could have played another 90 minutes, terrific engine on him.
Big respect to have come back into the team in recent weeks and actually put in some decent performances out of position, with today then probably being his best performance.

For once our players seemed to be more up for it and wanted it a lot more than theirs.
Wasn’t pretty but excellent result and they never really troubled us once we had the lead. Managed the game well.

Did anyone see what caused the handbags at the end?
-
Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 3 - 0 SWANSEA CITY. Match thread
Meite offered his hand to a Jack (I don’t know which one) at the end of the game
The Jack removed his hand and Meite gave him a tap on the back of the head
Then it was handbags
I think some of our lot were trying to get to Franco as well
Tea cup and storm in spring to mind
They were upset they lost our lot were a bit over enthusiastic with the win
Bloody good to see for a change

I dont mind that, shows some passion and some fight
we have been moaning that our players havent been showing the fight to stay up, Maybe Riza is leading from the front ( or the stand for a few games )
