No. I also don’t think they’ll be saying they tore us apart.

I thought Horvath's kicking was far better today, it's normally hopeless

Did you watch the game standing on your head? Hull were hopeless, sideways, backwards, no incision. Horvath won’t have a easier game, how the hell did they beat Sunderland?

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 1 - 0 HULL CITY. Match thread
I guess Riza got the tactics right

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 1 - 0 HULL CITY. Match thread
Very much needed 3 points. Doesn't matter how we get them, we just need to get them. Well done to the team for getting the win.

Crack on, we all talk Bollocks, there's just players who you wont criticise or defend when others are critical of them, yet Rino gets it from you. I have no problem with that whatsoever, (Not fancying Rino) but there has to be balance in my opinion

We scored and kept a clean sheet- nothing else matters. Thought Ng, Fish and O'Dowda had excellent games.

Well on my tv they were pinging balls in the box quite a few times late in the 2nd half and could easily have nicked an equaliser and more. They had a lot of the ball and moved it around in our half and got some decent crosses in.

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 1 - 0 HULL CITY. Match thread
Watching the opposition have 65% possession is not enjoyable for me. The more we have the ball the happier I am.

Hull were in the ascendancy for the lat 30 minutes or so, you are right to (sort of) point that out. They had no quality when it mattered, thankfully

Very relieved about that. Doesn't matter how we won. This win could really get us going up the table.

In his press conference after the game Riza confirmed Alnwick is likely to miss the remainder of the season

No, they were absolutely useless like so many teams in this division.
Quite depressing really but fingers crossed there will be 3 teams even worse than us on the last day of the season.
How I long for watching us give teams a good game. I’m starting to forget what it was like. :-/

Goalies are much of a muchness. Alnwick does my head in with his non urgency which transmits throughout the team.

Agree we could have "looked after" () the ball better when it was backs to the wall stuff after we'd scored, but considering the changes forced upon us, it's difficult to be too critical.
Not pretty but a clean sheet and three points. Sweet!!

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 1 - 0 HULL CITY. Match thread
I thought it was just a matter of time before they scored, when they started putting crosses in. We just couldn't keep hold of the ball towards the end and when we had it we gave it away cheaply and were caught out of position. We had a bunch of half chances, that if Robinson had caught cleanly he would have put away. Having said all that, with all the injuries, tired players, Hull's away form and our home form, I was not expecting us to win.

I can’t bear the thought of watching Hovarth standing on his line with the ball at his feet, daring the opposition to block his clearance into the net, for the rest of the season.

Robinson again ole ole etc. Finally, the two of them up top. Also, credit to Fish and Ng. I'd have gladly driven them down the M4 last week, made me look a right tit tonight

Some decent last gasp defensive scrambles but why resort to that type of football for the lion share of the second half.
A better opponent in the final third would have easily taken all 3 points.
Makes me ask the question, where was the game management?
The team keeps a clean sheet, picks up 3 points, leapfrogs the two teams above us, opens up a 6 point gap between them and the relegation places and you question the game management?

3 points towards the magic target of 51 required for the season 👍
