Stuff like this makes it easy to defend Riza for his "clueless" comments

Re: Riza sacked. Aaron Ramsey takes charge
Dust has settled and a few hours to digest and reflect.
I wish the Ramsey-Ralls-Gunter team all the very best for the coming 3 matches, and I’m sure the crowds will back them all the way in the stadium.
In other respects, doesn’t this situation just sum up the shit-show that is Cardiff City.
The hierarchy are either too busy with other commitments to deal with club matters in a timely manner, or they have zero confidence in their ability to make a suitable football-related decision.
Tan, Dalman and Choo are to blame for this club’s slow death spiral, and I will never forgive them for that.

Let’s be realistic about this, it’s more likely to happen with Rambo at the helm than anyone else
Rambo is a highly decorated player who is probably the best midfielder Wales have ever had
He will have lots of contacts and pull
This is the best news of the season and whilst I think it should have happened sooner, it’s still probably our only chance of staying up
Jumping the gun regarding if Ramsey takes the job full time, let’s just get the last 3 games out of the way first.

This is a win-win for Ramsey.
If we stay up he’ll be offered the job permanently by our part time chairman and CEO because it’ll be a decision that requires the least amount of effort. They’d just announce it as a reward for keeping us in the Championship.
If we get relegated, then it’s an opportunity for Ramsey to cut his teeth with us in League 1. Again, a decision based on the path of least resistance by our board.
Ramsey is laughing (with the best wishes of everyone in South Wales) for at least the next twelve months thanks to the laziness and incompetence of Dalman and Choo. I’m sick of them!
Hope Rambo nails it mind!

1) I thought Ramsey had been helping to advise Riza? If Riza has been taking on board Ramsey's advice, then I can't see much happening that we haven't seen so far.
2) If Riza was a disappointing appointment due to his lack of experience as a manager, then the same surely applies to Ramsey, or is he acceptable because of his playing career?
These might sound like I'm having a downer on Ramsey but that's simply not true. Let's hope things work out. Even if we go down, which I still think is as likely as it was yesterday, these 3 games should have no bearing on Ramsey's future as a manager, either way - if we stay up or go down. He's dealing with a poisoned chalice.
On 1, I think Riza made some comments about maybe getting Ramsey involved, I don't think he's been actively doing much.
On 2, Riza is thick. Ramsey isn't. For a start, he's not stupid enough to ring fans up who criticise him on social media.

Not sure I can imagine Ramsey able to gee up the players when the chips are down
I prefer to remain positive about this appointment
Rambo is a very wealthy man, he doesn’t have to and won’t put up with any crap
That’s why I have more faith in him as the manager than anyone else
Rambo will seek and get assurances on what he wants and what he needs from the board
Otherwise he’ll tell them to whistle for it
He’s an intelligent individual and I doubt he’ll be anyone’s lapdog
If he’s going to take the job on permanently, he’ll demand assurances, otherwise he’ll walk
Whenever people criticise Rambo, they should remember, he’s only here because he wants to be involved with the City
We need him, far more than he needs us imho

Re: Riza sacked. Aaron Ramsey takes charge
This will be the first City manager I once saw playing for our youth team. Thanks for another reason to feel old, Aaron. (Even though it wasn't that long ago).

Thinking a bit on those lines today, sort of. I make it that we’ve had 4 managers/temporary managers in our history who began their football life at the City. Richie Morgan, Alan Durban, Scott Young & now Ramsey. Can’t think of any others.

Is Ramsey our first ever Welsh speaking manager?

With his background, born in Carmarthenshire, his father was a miner, and his FAW background, I would have thought there was a good chance Trevor Morris spoke Welsh.

I believe that Jimmy Murphy could speak it, although not fluent in Welsh. One report stated that when Pele scored, he talked to John Charles in Welsh, who was sitting next to him and said I think we are going to lose this, John

Oops, sorry, just realised it was meant to be Cardiff managers, not Welsh managers.

Tan is only hanging about for the Sala money, then he’ll be gone no doubt. Guess we have to wait a bit longer to finally be rid of the gross ineptitude

To be a seller of something, there needs to be a buyer. The ‘Tan Out’ protest today would be all well & good if there were multi millionaires/a billionaire waiting in the wings to get involved.
If the Sala situation is resolved in a positive financial way in our favour, would it be the club’s money or Tan’s money? Would he sell at a competitive price (should there be interest)? Or does he still hold out for what he believes the club is worth?
So many questions to be answered, questions that seem impossible for any fan to fathom out an answer.

Do you know for a fact there isn’t?

Is Tan that bonkers to think he's going to get what he's claiming from Nantes?
I think its simpler than that. There is no genuine interest in the club.

Has Tan put the club on the market?
-
Re: Riza sacked. Aaron Ramsey takes charge
It's probably too late, and he has no experience, but this will still give the team and the fans a massive lift. The remaining games are all winnable against Oxford and two better teams in shocking form, and hopefully, they will have nothing to play for by the time we play them.
There is a chance, I can't wait to see if he can change something in such a short window with the players, we need to get behind them today and show some loyalty; we can definitely help.
I'm most interested to see what the defence looks like, personally, I'd like to see Bagan left back with O'Dowda left wing getting crosses in but we will soon see.

The professional football clubs for sale market. Or maybe eBay.

I think there’s only about 3-4 candidates that could challenge that just based on place of birth alone.

Do all clubs go on said market?
