Also, going to the football is not just about the 90+ minutes in the ground, it’s a massive part of people’s social life, the whole day, whether home or away. I’ll be renewing and my name’s down for the first away game on a bus that’s already full regardless of who or where it is. It’s all part of being a football fan, ups, downs, cheers, moans, it’s what makes the game what it is.
Not stopping you, and I don't question you probably want what is best for the club and the fans. But the situation has reached a point where there must be a change, because we are slowly dying under this regime and it is undisputable. I want to course correct.

Much better second half with the changes made. Salech again showing what he can do when we create chances.

Re: NORWICH CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Salech will get a deserved move.
Any deal should include Willock and Chambers.🤣

Re: NORWICH CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Hold onto Salech for our lives, unless we get something ridiculous like 10 mil for him.

This all day long, and will be for the next twenty years until the correct managerial appointment is made.
I am a dull and simple fan but, I know this much, not even Andre Preview would be able to get a decent tune out of this lot.

Yes,Turnbull had one saved against Blackburn, but scored from the rebound.

Definitely not. Lacking a big physical central defender and odowda not a LB.

He’s been excellent, unfortunately all he’s doing is increasing the interest in him from Championship clubs , I’ll be amazed if he stays to play in league 1

Re: NORWICH CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
torn between being pleased about Salech scoring and wishing he hadn't so no one wants to buy him :hehe:

We’ve been a lot closer to dying in years gone by. Yes, we need a change, 50% or more of other clubs fans most probably think the same way. I just don’t think chucking the towel in would achieve anything, it wouldn’t financially affect Tan in the big picture. Not being there and supporting those on the pitch would do the club no good at all.

Salech is the one player who has actually delivered on the usual football tosh of kissing the badge and promising to look forward to showing the fans what he is capable of.

Like last season many of our youngsters show they are better than many regular starters

Re: FT: NORWICH CITY 4 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Yep, absolutely have to keep hold of Salech. The club might think it's good business to sell him for a quick profit, but our strike rate when it comes to signing centre forwards is so dire we need to hold onto this one now we've finally found a good one.
-
Re: FT: NORWICH CITY 4 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Could have been a lot worse.
Going to be a long few months and a long hard slog next season.
Thank feck the season is over. I've seen worse sides but given the money we've spent and blown and the expensive crap we are lumbered with plus no managerial set up to start a much needed rebuild this is the worst season and relegation since I've supported the club. (Ashurst promotion season)
I cant see how we progress without someone buying Tan Out.

Salech won't want to stay. Why would he want to?

Good performance after the horror start. Once again kids proving to be better than the so called experienced professionals.

They show some spirit. The experienced players have been a disgrace. Next year must be about the youth because holding on to this bunch won’t see us above half way. With a decent manager of course.

Three wins in the last five not enough to save Luton from back to back relegations

Re: FT: NORWICH CITY 4 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The problem will be that we won’t be in a great position to dictate a transfer fee that will be anywhere near what we paid for Salech. Hopefully he doesn’t down tools to force a move but given he would be a good wage to get off the bill then a low fee might be acceptable to all concerned.

You’re thirteen years too late, preacher man. The vast majority of City’s fanbase didn’t boycott the club when Emperor Tan trashed its identity. Do you seriously think people will boycott now simply because the team has been relegated?
Hopefully, those who still believe Tan is a decent owner will be having second thoughts following the recent events, but I wouldn’t hold your breath on that one either.

Overreaction.🤣
3 nil down after 20 minutes. Callum Chambers feckin up again and getting sent off.
Bottom of the the league in the lower leagues with no manager or 1st team coaching staff.
I think the reaction is quite calm considering the mess the club is in.

I think he's near certain to move and I think we will make a profit as well.
The only way he'd stay was if he was convinced we had real intent to go up next season. But we haven't even appointed Steve Evans yet.🤣
I'm sure he will go but not on the cheap.
