Labour should tell everyone to vote plaid as otherwise its throwing the result

There is, I am sure you agree, a backlash against Labour at the moment. I dont anyone disputes that.
That backlash is largely due to Starmers govt in Westminster, but also against a quarter of a century of Labour rule here in Wales, which I think people are fed up with, or at the very least bored. Plaid have propped Labour up at numerous points in that quarter century, so that's why there's some truth in it.
I thought Lindsey Whittle came across quite well actually, and a genuine character and the part where he said "I believe you" to the Reform guy, in a world of mudslinging and verbal abuse was actually quite touching. He's a guy who has given tremendous service to his community too. The Lib Dem and Tory guys didn't have much about them at all.
Shame he's Plaid really!
I have no intention of voting labour either locally or nationally unless its clear a vote for them will keep out reform
I am also not interested in voting plaid to support independence in fact would likewise vote to defeat that in a referendum
I would vote plaid , lib dem , labour , green or for a tin of soup if it helps defeat reform
I feel it may be pointless but thats only option left until the centre left stops poncing about and unites to defeat the far right
If they dont then feck em all
A vote for plaid is a vote for Drakeford and co, you know that right? So, nothing changes and they just carry on adding more members and doing stuff that annoys the majority of people…..the scaremongering to the Welsh public by Labour and plaid at the moment is nothing short of sickening desperation, do they think people won’t see through that? Jeez, so deluded after all these years “in power”
Well, no offence to caerphilly folk but they arent the brightest are they?:hehe: sorry Dorcus:biggrin:
I’ll never forget with brexit sky tv we’re live in caerphilly (god help us it was live for the whole uk to see too). Journo asks are they voting to stay in or out, one guy goes “ what have the EU ever done for us here?” Um…it funded the redevelopment of the town centre to start with…..oh..I didn’t know that. Quality
Yeah, although it's worth pointing out...the EU didn't fund it. It administered it.
If you give me £20 and I then buy you a £15 Chinese meal tonight and decide what you are having too, then I haven't bought your Chinese!
But I appreciate that's going off topic!
More generally I think all bar the most ardent Labour voters will recognise that people want a break from Labour. Will do both sides some good tbh and will definitely aid Welsh civic society which is way to wedded to "the party"
Priorities, what a great job done on this Cardiff lane, fair play to Labour, they are spending the money here, hopefully no one is going over 20mph down here - https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1SM...ibextid=wwXIfr
Whys that sludge? Don’t you fancy not paying tax until you earn 20k, I mean let’s face it it’s been stuck at 11k since as long as I can recall? Its absurd. Strange for a country trillions in debt that we still give out 15 billion in foreign aid, why? We could do a lot of damage with that un sorting out the current homelessness issues which I know you are well aware of. Never seen cardiff city centre so bad with them. Scrapping net zero as we all know it’s a load of bollocks and will save us all billions……
