And rightly so. Tan and co gave him the contract when so many fans were against it.

What did Bagan and Ng do so wrong for Brown & McGuinness to come in?
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We are lucky it’s 3 so poor from a poor Swansea team.
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I've had to log on for the first time just to vent.
McCarthy needs to go should have been sacked before the Reading game.
Morrison needs to go, doesn't even look interested in playing. His half jog back his pathetic.
Absolutely pathetic all round from Mick and the team.
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
10 minutes left and 3 down he changes formation and brings Colwill on. Absolutely clueless

They don't play or look like a pair of wrestlers on a cheap card in Blackpool.
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I wonder if there is a clause in Mick's contract that means we can sack him on the cheap if we're in the bottom three? Perhaps that is what Tan is waiting for.

Brown is one of the worst City players I've seen (and there's been a lot) since I first started following the City in '68!

They are clearly a decent side. They just don't score goals......normally!

Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Why bother bringing him on for 10 minutes?

Yup, unbelievable. I don't know how Colwill will end up, but atleat he plays on the front foot, carries the ball and moves into space. Oh yeah, that's why he's not starting.
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Feel sorry for Colwill having to come on, what a thankless introduction.
Some tough fixtures coming up so isn’t going to get any easier. Doesn’t feel like we’ve the fight for what’s shaping up to be a relegation scrap of a season.

I think MacGuiness looks promising. Just in the wrong position with our inept manager.

I think that is Morrison going full tilt.
I'd genuinely let him go. He looks shot to bits.
In fact I'd let all those whose contracts are running out to go and start again. This lot are beyond help.

Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
With colwill on for brown, who's left back now?
What formation are we playing?
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The game was lost before kick off. 5 centre halves, 2 of the slowest midfielders in the league plus Bacuna. Negative negative negative & slow slow & slower

Fair point, he doesn't look half bad.

Ciaron Brown should never play for the first team again. He's embarrassingly poor

I’ve logged on but can’t think of anything to say. What can you say? Speechless.

Vaulks immediately gives the ball away

Yes but try Flint there and you’d get the same result
It’s clear to everyone but Mick he’s too slow to deal with a normal winger

Whilst not being much better we at least sort of set up to have a go. Or half a go.
Now we just surrender an hour before ko.

I’ve seen absolutely nothing that helps me get anywhere near that conclusion

First move of new manager, Wintle & Murphy recall
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
5cbs on until 80th minute. Surely even Vincent is aware that's just wrong.
-
Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Atmosphere at football is at an all time low.
They're 3-0 up against their main rivals and the atmosphere is like they're playing out the last few minutes of a cup tie against Barnet.

You can't be too careful.

I’ve supported Cardiff City for over 50 years and I have seen some shite in my time but I have NEVER, EVER been so annoyed.

Feel the same. Have been about to write something a few times only to not bother as it's just so obvious anyway.
This is the most incompetent performance I've seen in a long time.

Agree. Just really odd that Mick doesn’t seem to view the full back position as a specialist one. Seems to think anyone can slot in there.

Ive gone past that
I’ve got to the point where i just don’t care anymore.

Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
There are probably 30,000 or more of us who knew that appointing McCarthy was a huge mistake.

This is embarrassing.
We would never EVER score any of the goals that they have scored.
Defeat at Fulham and Mick is gone. His time will be up.
It is the nature of this defeat that is so dire and depressing.
