Looking on the bright side I don't think we should get too worried about climate change. I think we will probably have annihilated ourselves before the effects become really significant.

I’m open minded about the subject, when you consider many of the issues that are trying to be implemented here differ greatly in other parts of the world. If it makes money then the governments will push it regardless.

I’m open minded as I’m posting on a football messageboard, and I suppose most policies on this subject tend to impact in a few decades time , so I’m sure by then we could have a conversation about it.

German farmers don’t appear too keen on some of the political decisions being implemented.

I'll likely be dead by then as will a good many posters (grim I know but true). I think the point that John was highlighting, is that we probably (almost certainly) don't have a couple of decades left to work this shit out. What we should be doing is thinking of young people, our kids and families and not being arseholes about all of this now just because of some political willy wanging.
