Oh what a shame, I thought you had seen the light. I'm not a bigot but I understand this is another concept you've randomly picked up chattering away in the dole queue and obviously do not fully comprehend it. Next thing you'll be telling us it's bigotry to dislike thieves, murders and terrorists 🫢

Sure!
"obstinate or unreasonable attachment to a belief, opinion, or faction, in particular prejudice against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group."

You've just hit the nail on the head "unreasonable ". Is it unreasonable to dislike thieves, pederasts, murderers, rapists, fraudsters, thugs.... I could go on! They are all members of delineated groups and often exude evil! Is it bigotry to challenge them?

Umm, it is bigotry to irrationally hate all people in any political or religious group and delude yourself that they all share those characteristics, yeah.

"Irrationally"! One of your favourite devices for skimming over the truth. You'll have to go an awful long way to explain the philosophical meaning of what's irrational.
No, silly response! I am not deluding myself by claiming that thieves, murderers rapists, pederasts, Nazis, fraudsters, child sacrificers, thugs etc etc all share common characteristics within their defined groups. Surely, even you can see that?
Next you'll be telling us to hug a hoodie and romance a rapist!

Do you not hate people who may vote for a particular political party then? If so then this is great news!

I hate the political movement itself and weep for those who have been suckered into it. Just like I hate Naziism but not those who followed it who did not possess the wherewithal to see it's inherent evil. Just like I hate the high priests who initiated child sacrifice for personal gain but not the ingenues who did not know any better. Just like the organized gangs who recruit desperate people to carry out crimes on their behalf.
We should never be afraid to call out evil even in the face of bad actors who will decry it as bigotry.

So you hate the Conservative Party for example, but not everyone who votes for it? A little like someone may hate Islam but not every individual Muslim?

That's actually a fair assessment but I would want both organisations eradicated on the basis they are an affront to humanity. That's not bigotry by the way, it's noble.

I genuinely don't think you know the meaning of words you randomly pluck from the air. It doesn't become you, you know. There's absolutely no pressure on you to casually jump on any old right wing bandwagon.

Hmm the eradication of political parties you don't like is pretty high up on the fascism list Ducky.

I'm not so sure Jimbo. I believe it's humanity's primal role to quash evil. Those that have been captured by it's tentacles are always oblivious to it.

The eradication of the tory party would not be because I don't like them , it's because it's been scientifically proved they are ++++s
If God had existed then as a generally decent enough chap he would also have put the boot into the tossers

In 2020 he said that he was going to nationalise water ( I have no idea if he did )
Now ( eg November 2024 ) he said....something like ... " privatisation is best for this country's water supply "
And it was on tv , seen by lots of people
That sort of thing ?
Otherwise it's a bit like Sesame Street

I have voted Tory in the past but not this time around.
And usually missus takes me out , the last time was Saturday before the game, we had some nice fodder in town.
Another favourite is Poco Poco in Bridgend and the Pennyfarthing on a Friday which is in your neck of the woods ( cowbridge)

By default with him, if you don’t vote Labour whatever, you are a Tory. Simple folk are like this and he’s half jack anyway……

A pair of working class Tory’s if ever I saw
a pair. Especially Goats. To think they were into football mischief and raves and were deep down a pair of Thatcherites. Sickening.

Re: Labour Election Promises (Broken) Thread
Starmer 4 years ago “ I’ll abolish student tuition fees….now in power, today he’s decided to raise them instead. For the working class eh?
Just keeps giving….is it true his hero was Thatcher?

Tories were actually above Labour for the first time in a poll last week. A quite remarkable feat after the election

Polls are like women
They promise the earth and give you nothing
Starmer hopefully will have an accident , a new leader emerges and the very worst scenario at the next election is a Lib lab coalition
In fact I think that would be great

750,000 permanent migrants moved to the UK last year. Extraordinary numbers. Not on Labours watch of course but will be interesting to see how they deal with this
