Yeah, I watched it. Bowlers done well, bats let them down as usual. Some of our shot selection is bizarre and De Lange coming at 5??

Big test for Glamorgan's batting today, Northants bowled all out for 98 - I reckon it's 50/50 who'll win at the moment.
Scores level with 7wkts left I'm confident, never in doubt 🤣
Babar was dropped twice (on 10 and 66) on his way to scoring 114 not out, as Maynard (and many others previously) pointed out catches win matches - unlikely but could have been a different result
Yes I saw that but using a football analogy that’s like saying if they hadn’t have scored those 4 goals and we had taken a few of our half chances it could have been a different result - well no sh*t Sherlock :hehe:
Never mind the missed catches we were bowled out for 117!
This Glamorgan team is the worst in a generation
The team of the late 70’s and 80’s was dire this one is just as bad
Some of the players are no more than club cricketers stealing a living as a professional sportsman
Sad to day I agree. Chris Cooke and David Lloyd are good enough to play in the Championship but I don’t think any other batsman is up to standard. The bowling is better and they often bat better than the specialist batters. Whoever the coach is makes no difference,
Totally agree mate on their day the pace bowling is not too bad, but unfortunately the batting line up is completely woeful
Can’t really blame the coaches they have nothing to work with
I've watched Glamorgan now over 6 decades and this shower of crap needs booting out pronto. Looking at their recent performances in the Bob Willis and T20 has been so disappointing when we think of the halcyon days. You hope that someone at the top recognises the problem and puts in place a remedial program although the current situation makes it very difficult with income so unpredictable.
A good cleanout seems appropriate but you still need to be able to field a team?
Well they've finally put a decent score on the board tonight 188/4. Shame to see Balbirnie get stranded on 99 but fair play, he ran a 2 at the end then that others probably wouldn't have
Yes, they batted well today, albeit against a Gloucestershire side that has already qualified - still not confident of the win though!
One plus point this season has been the bowling of young left arm spinner Prem Sisodya, it would have been nice to see how he would done in the four day game.
Nice to see a W
Yes better tonight and agreed about Sisodya. He has bowled really well
Strange, Gloucestershire have had one game rained off and won the rest apart from the two they lost to us - if we could win tomorrow at Worcester, we'd finish with four wins, a no result and five losses which I think would be quite a good outcome considering the lack of depth and quality in our squad.
Three draws and two losses in the Bob Willis Trophy is not too bad either considering we were in a group with three Division One teams, but we were struggling in every one of our games in that competition and we were thrashed in a few of our white ball games - I think our record in terms of just results flatters us somewhat.
Glamorgan having a decent go at chasing 191 to win v Worcs, currently 120 for 0 - be great if they get across the line for a win
