Eight City players in the latest Wales under 17 squad, albeit two of them are reportedly leaving the club.

That’s what I thought. I think to qualify for the under 17s, you need to under that age on 1 September, so I suppose it might be based on who they were contracted to on that date?

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
0 - 0 at 63 minutes.
0 - 3 at 70 minutes. Hearn hat-trick for Millwall.
Somehow that feels like an omen!
-
Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
0 - 4 FT (all goals to Hearn)

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
Time for the 1st to break the losing streak!

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
The u23’s travel to Swansea today having won the home leg 4-3
Pursey wants to win this one drafting in a couple of the first team to get them game time including Bagan and Gavin Whyte

Don't think his brother's played for a while either. Maybe he's injured.

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
I expect a massive effort from Rubin tonight trying impress the new boss, the stage is set Jackland away, over to you Rubin.

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
Jacks 1 - 0 up after 14 minutes.

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
Seems to be one way traffic in the first half (based only on twitter updates). The wrong way!

14th January I think (u18s beat Watford).
14 games without a win since then unless we turn this one around late.

Morgan Wigley rounds the keeper to level then minutes later Gavin Whyte puts the Bluebirds in front from a well struck free kick 1 - 2 ⚽️⚽️👍

Thought Wigley was impressive against Villa and I'm fairly sure he made the bench against Leeds?

If this is correct the Man United capture of Biancheri is not yet complete - waiting FIFA authorisation (but imminent):

Part of the Wales u17 squad that beat Israel 2-1 today in their warm up for the UEFA Elite Round in March when they'll be playing Iceland, Scotland & Montenegro, should they top the group then they'll be going to the u17s Euros in the summer
8 City players in the squad

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
Answering your question THC it’s not exactly how Rubin did but what he was allowed to do.
He’ll be the first to admit that he’s not has the best of seasons
Unfortunately he’s suffered several niggling injuries and is trying to get back to match fitness
He was only allowed to play the first sixty minutes yesterday

You’re correct, he hasn’t had the best of his seasons but, ironically, this season has a memory for him that’ll be with him for life, playing against England in a World Cup Finals.

Watching that I still have no idea why we signed Antwi or Daley-Campbell, and what's happened to Kristiansen (?) who was brought in under the bizarre pretence of adding experience?

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...
Seb Kristiensen has had personal troubles and unfortunately hasn’t played since the home win against Swansea last year.

I’ve seen the highlights on our website as well because the same thought occurred to me - it was that one sided.
