So many strikers in recent years where we’ve had to wait months for a goal, how many goal a season strikers have we had?
As long as he doesn't turn into a damp squib like Steve Thompson did. After his two debut goals against Burnley, I said to my mate next to me that we'd finally got ourselves a top striker. Should have kept my mouth shut.

Re: Kion Etete - NEW SIGNING CONFIRMED
Very excited with this signing. Could be unearthing a gem..
SM deserves a lot of credit, I can’t remember being this enthusiastic about a transfer window…he seems to have brought in experience, character, quality, and the players are buying into the vision. All on a shoestring budget, literally.
I think we’re dark horses…

The term 'escape goat' was coined in the 16th century and subsequently morphed into 'scapegoat'.

haha I'd not seen 'feel day'.
You can also add Gareth Bale's sell on clause to the list.

150 yds and getting further out with every passing year of recollection. I can still hear the sonic boom

Re: Kion Etete - NEW SIGNING CONFIRMED
Didn't think I'd cause such a male strum by my damp squib comment.
Before I make any more Fowpas can someone please enlighten me regarding the current status of the "could of" versus "could have" situation. The incorrect use of "could of" has always irritated me but I will abide by the CCMB ruling if I am out of step here.

Anyone who tells you that "could of" is acceptable is talking out if their dairy air.
