Globally we have hundreds of investigative journalists who take the time and effort to chase down news stories and look into them in a level of detail that you won't normally find in a corporate owned news media.

You wouldn't refer to someone of the stature as John Pilger as lurking in his "bedroom scouring the internet for the slightest discrepancies in reports". Look at all of the conspiracy theories that he has dealt with during his career, which have simply turned out to be conspiracy facts.

Let's stick with ISIS first of all. They were armed, supplied, and trained by the West. With the full knowledge and approval of Western governments. Our NATO partners have allowed individuals to cross closed borders to go along and join them. There have been constant air drops of supplies to them both lethal and non-lethal from the West while the West has allowed ISIS to sell oil on the open market without any restrictions whatsoever.

I disagree, ISIS was formed to fight our forces in Iraq. We left and they defeated the cowardly Iraqi army, seizing there military hardware, thus allowing them to gain a foothold in the region.

What's complicated? It's being reported on 24/7 on all sorts of channels. Israel has carried out six bombing missions inside Syria against a government that is fighting against the terrorist organisation ISIS. So please remind me again who is it that has the West's interests at heart?

You keep saying this but the FSA are fighting ISIS. There were some defectors but a lot defected back.

Do you really consider these radical muslims to be a real threat to your way of life? Do you think the actual threat they pose is deserved of the airtime given to them? Are there countless other atrocities going on in the world that are not aired or glossed over as there is little or no interest for the elite?

Engage your brain for a few moments and think about the 'theories' which you believe in. For a start we have a media which regularly enjoys increased sales through exposing any political corruption they can find. Then there is the fact that our internet is free, open and unrestricted. I've travelled to quite a few countries where that isn't the case. Our government can't get away with the massive secrets like conspiracy theorists would love to believe.

The trouble with conspiracy theorists is that they are very lazy. It is so easy to create a conspiracy theory - I could create a theory right now with no effort at all for pretty much event that has ever happened. And you know what? There would be enough loons out there to believe every one of those theories I created, because certain people are scared to death of being fooled or being the easily led 'sheep'.
Yes..If in doubt, it's all Israel's fault.

Anyway back on topic. I'd love to hear more from the scary number of
conspitavy theorists on here about who ISIS actually are then...exactly that is. Who's making the videos, what our governments role is and how the cost of war (which we haven't even really involved ourselves in) is somehow favourable. It's nearly mid day and I need a laugh. But
i'm guessing some of these nutters
aren't stoned enough yet..

'clearly offside' has suggested that ISIS don't actually exist and that pretty much anything wrong with the world (that we hear about at least) is down to our government. It would be interesting to hear specifics.

I'm afraid I for one don't share your blind faith in our state media or in corporate media which for the most part goes along with the state.

There's been no investigation of any kind and nothing to back up this story.
Re: Twitter Top Boy has been threatened
ISIS are it seems, a bunch of extreme Muslims who's size and scope is indeterminable. They, as has already been mentioned by Gluey, Sheep Report et al, were aided/initiated by the 'West' and are now being exaggerated (EXAGGERATED!!) to the extent that they are being talked about on football message boards. They are being trumped up and shown to the public as a threat to the very fabric of our society (seriously!) to smooth the way for invasion/occupation of the Middle East This would also fit nicely with Israels (The same Israel that owns America) agenda for their irritant neighbors.
I haven't been on this forum for a few days and have just spent 20 mins reading your ramblings asking 'who are they x 6. They are whatever the media want to make them out to be. Its not a straight narrative. The media being little more than the Ministry of Propaganda of government. There are real journalists out there giving balanced information on whats going on - you won't read it in your newspaper or see it on News at 6, and if you do its mainly for propaganda purposes, planting little seeds in narrow minds, brainwashing the likes of you
Do you really consider these radical muslims to be a real threat to your way of life? Do you think the actual threat they pose is deserved of the airtime given to them? Are there countless other atrocities going on in the world that are not aired or glossed over as there is little or no interest for the elite?

So I answered your question, be kind enough to share some of your wisdom on mine http://www.ccmb.co.uk/images/smiley_icons/rolleyes.gif
Re: Twitter Top Boy has been threatened
I can only repeat what I said originally and state how glad I am that there weren't so many people like you around during the 1940's. We've become such a sickeningly soft and disjointed country.
Re: Twitter Top Boy has been threatened
Organisations within organisations is an interesting topic.

Faulty logic again.

The point is that it can happen with alternative news sources as well as mainstream news media.

Have ISIS denied it and declared they love twitter?
