Frustrating end but good cup game.
Surprised how far off Tanner looks, physically and in thought looked lost considering he hadn’t been on long he looked knackered.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v LEEDS UTD. FA Cup Match thread
Gutting. Still a much better result than any of us were expecting. Something to build on against Wigan.

Re: CARDIFF CITY v LEEDS UTD. FA Cup Match thread
Much better than I was expecting.
A replay that neither team wants or needs but it is what it is.

Leeds original ticket allocation of 4,947 have sold out and they are now selling an extra allocation of 1,650 tickets.
Tickets for home fans are on sale from the ticket office.
Absolutely pathetic conceding like that at the end.
Typical Cardiff City. So weak and spineless.

And Harris showed when he went to striker. He’s not a striker. Moving him to striker left Sang exposed.

Are you for real? Backs to the wall and down to 10 men. Pretty sure some of those players have been ill this week too.

Rubbish. You can’t have wanted a City win.

Exactly what I have said to friends. Today was a shot to nothing and I went into the game hoping we'd keep it respectable. There were some big performances out there and Hudson will have much to think on now. Isaak Davies caused real issues with his pace. Ojo put in a much improved performance and didn't stop running. Simpson did well at centre back, especially in the first half I thought. Sawyers gave the kind of performance he is capable of and we have been missing. Sang battled relentlessly and didn't stop going but I'd be happier if Ng reverts to right back if McGuinness does come back. Ollie Tanner bless him was miles off the tempo and a loan will do him good for the rest of the season. All in all I hope that this gives the players a bit more belief and the confidence carries through to the Wigan match. I only see benefits from this afternoon and, importantly, we didn't lose !

Gutted for the players but an encouraging performance.
I think it's 1 defeat in our last 12 visits to Elland Rd so there's still some hope.

Eh? Pathetic post

Re: CARDIFF CITY v LEEDS UTD. FA Cup Match thread
Not to be picky, as I said Leeds deserved at least a draw and Alnwick saved a penalty. But could he have done better on that equalizer? He was just waiting for the ball to drop into arms when he was surrounded by Leeds players.

The only absolute pathetic thing here is your post.

Yeah, would have helped if we had a striker to come on for Davies.
-
Re: CARDIFF CITY v LEEDS UTD. FA Cup Match thread
Totally agreed, having an Etete or Robinson to come on may have changed that outcome, once it was Tanner and a tiring Davies it was 11 v 9 before the Bagan red card.
Lots of positives from the first half, mildly worrying that we went from shite to total shite once our first team players came on but a very difficult situation to be fair. Davies surely the one of the first names on the team sheet moving forward.

Gutting isn’t it, even more so. If it was Fulham away I’d be a lot happier. We should be in round 5. Oh well, at least Ojo got some confidence and we played pretty well

Hope you can afford to lose a ton.
