It was nowhere near 19000 either. 13-14k maybe?

Still riding high from these back-to-back wins. What a feeling!
It’s all starting to click and I ****ing love it.

Not the jacks
Less away supporters
Am sure there are more reasons as to why the crowd was down

I might be being harsh because I know we have two good keepers, Let's see what happens again on Sunday and how whoever is in does.
Point blank headers are the hardest to save in my view

Maybe but I remember Runner saving one like that and got his foot to the right low like their first goal, I think he's better, but time will tell.

McGuinness lost the man who was in front of him. I maybe being too critical but the movement from the Coventry player was decent but nothing more. McGuinness could see him clearly in front of him leading up to the forward moving. Could he have been closer to the Coventry player? Perhaps too harsh?
Our current centre halves defend well when forwards play directly against them. Any movement from opposing strikers tend to expose our centre halves as (for me) they lack awareness and positioning.

No it isn’t, looking at the weather etc….I’m sure many were running their kids about after school, I was and I didn’t get home until 7.30.

Phuck me, this 20mph law is holding you up, you need to sign the petition.
Same here, my lad (who is the reason why I'm at the ground again) was football/rugby training which was always going to take priority.
The person suggesting the attendance should be higher usually says needs to take a breath.

Every club in the country can put forward those excuses
But after a fantastic Derby win our crowd dropped by 10000
A third
It's the way it's always been , South Wales seems to love the big events I am afraid

Massive difference in the respective games.
Day out on Saturday - Day in work/school on Tuesday
Lay in on Sunday - Up early on Wednesday
Different mindset to shite weather on Saturday - Shite, it’s pissing down on Tuesday
For non season ticket holders
Expensive day on Saturday - Expensive night on Tuesday (minus beer money perhaps)
For non season ticket holders with a couple of kids
Mega expensive day on Saturday - Waiting for next pay day on Tuesday.
There’s many valid factors for midweek attendances being down, especially a few days after another home game. One plus this season though with the improved performances is that a few who couldn’t run to the cost of last night may bite the bullet and invest in a season ticket, it certainly softens the financial blow after the initial outlay.

What do you reckon we’d get this Saturday if we were home to Sunderland? 24k? I’d say that would be very good

A lot of the youngsters are enjoying going away too, sometimes missing home games to afford it.
The weather yesterday was terrible and probably the main factor.

I've noticed we have picked up significantly more young fans over the last couple of seasons, or maybe they have moved from other areas of the ground to the Canton? Has to be a good thing for the future of the club.

Great choice of a team to support! Never run with the pack.
That goal by Ernie Hunt is one of my favourite all time non City goals. I can remember watching it on MOTD on B&W TV. I was in form 1 of Whitchurch Comp and on the Monday me and all my classmates were practising it in the playground with tennis balls.
