Just sack pat
Simple reason why we have struggled this season is the team don't work hard enough. Doesn't matter who plays for us they just stand off and let the opposition pick passes. Teams who play against us are all over us like a rash. It's all down to the manager he thinks tactics alone will win games.
Would’ve taken a pint before the game. Derby didn’t win at home, Stoke conceded a late equaliser. We go again.
Great cross Robertson.
Goutas shouldn't be anywhere near the squad for the rest of the season. Preferably Daland as well but beggars can't be choosers and he's probably the slightly less shit out of the two on form. I've come away from that game thinking we are somehow going to survive, we're like a turd you can't flush, much like Stoke.
Derby vs Portsmouth on Saturday is a big big game should Portsmouth lose to Coventry tomorrow.
We’ve equalised in the 94th minute, we should be delighted yet the performance was so poor for so long in that game and even then we almost threw it away again right at the death to a team with nothing to play for!
Certainly that’s the end of Goutas, really surprised Riza brought him back in. We haven’t looked at all comfortable playing 3 centre halves anytime in the season, not helped by that also meaning we surrender midfield. Let’s stick with a back 4 eh Riza!
We need to have someone in midfield who can pass forward- either Turnbull or Robertson should start or possibly both and we need to press more and more as a team.
Robinson needs to be playing from the start if he’s fit enough, he’s our top scorer and we need him in the team
What odds we draw with Stoke and prolong the agony !
I think we need to play a more effective midfield including both Turnbull and Robertson with Chambers.
A choice of Alvez, Ashford or Davies out wide with Salech up top.
Back four of O’Dowda, Bagan, Fish and NG.
As a sidebar….Meite has had his criticism, but his goals could be what keeps us up.
Pretty honest assessment from Riza - especially about the defending.
Understandable given the pressure, the league position and the quality (or lack of) in performances, but he keeps giving off the vibe of a manager who expects to be relegated, even whilst saying 'the right things' about escape!

Paul, it's getting pretty repetitive week on week from Riza now. Same old same old. In that interview he looks a man bereft of any confidence to get us out of this mess, but also someone who's run out of ideas, run out of enthusiasm to get the job done and also someone who's been totally ground down by the intense pressure of trying to get the players to perform for him. He looks totally exhausted & spent.
Riza can definitely take the title of tinerkman from Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer because bloody hell he loves to change the team on a whim.
Honestly we didn't deserve anything out of that. The team look bereft of confidence or idea of what we are trying to achieve. I don't think a change of manager would help us but these last run of games are so disheartening. What a crap way to end the season.
Rinhimota is not a right back but we have no one else. I like O Dowda but he shouldn't be left back. Our back 3 are all utterly useless.

Wow. That was just an awful performance. I can't believe we got away it. For a long time I thought we had an OK squad, but that there was just something wrong somewhere. But over the last month I have come to realise that our team, squad and manager are just terrible.
The starting 11 today was a joke. The subs improved things, but if we could all see that coming, why couldn't Riza? And I can't believe that lack of leadership on the pitch. Chambers has over 250 PL games under his belt and he's just totally clueless? WTF? The decision-making across the team is ludicrously bad. If we manage to stay up, Riza has to be gone the next day. What a ****ing mess.
Their 2 goals and their other 3 or 4 good attempts were all pretty decent moves, by players who knew exactly where to pass, to move, and to run. We can only dream of a settled side that can put together combinations like that - and we're talking about a VERY mid table team. Almost every time City have the ball at their feet you can almost here the cogs working 'where the hell am I going to play this ball'. And God help you if you're un a run up the wing - you'll look up at the end and find you're on your own..
I get that people are very much under a cloud at the moment, but we've scored quite a few decent goals this season. you only have to look back to the first half against Wednesday to see some very nice attacking plays
Preston have only lost twice at home all season (against Sheffield United and Bristol, they beat Burnley and drew with Leeds), and have a pretty strong defence.
The hokey cokey selection of the players game to game is a sure sign of a manager who is at best inept.
in out in out shake them all about
I will say this, I've seen a few posts saying we were lucky to draw, and we may well have been. But if we'd have lost that we'd have a load of posts saying gutless, spineless, no fight etc. We've come back from a goal down twice, they deserve credit for that
