If there is some ambition shown in the coming weeks with an intent to bounce back then sales will be decent.
There's plenty of talk about the lost fans due to the rebrand but we've also gained fans over the years.
Even if we are shit next year I reckon we will average around 12000.

The reason we've lost so much support and so many in the city would rather support big 6 clubs is because of the relationship between the ownership and the fans. Should that improve, the fan support would improve'.
Have we lost so much support? Since when? The rebrand was a disaster but it didn't stop us getting sellout crowds in the premier league. The reason so many in the city would rather support big 6 clubs is that Cardiff City are, generally speaking, often pretty rubbish as a football team.

It's almost a badge of honour on this board to outdo one another as to how long they've stopped actually going to games - I doubt more than a handful of the more 'prominent' posters on here are regular supporters, yet we've had over 50,000 attend our last two home games.

Given Wrexham are now an entertainment juggernaut in the US, and Swansea now have Modric investment, it would be very easy to pitch Cardiff as having potential to expand into entertainment ventures as the capital city, now that two other Welsh teams are on the rise. TKO Holdings held a massive WWE event in Cardiff in 2022, the first large event since Summerslam 1992 in Wembley and have a very lucrative Netflix deal. Other entertainers frequently include Cardiff as a part of their schedule when doing touring dates. There is massive upside to investing in Cardiff if done correctly and intelligently, we had a Champions League final held here after all.
We are on par with a team like Bolton as it currently stands. For a capital city, it's pathetic and given where the city is otherwise, we are under-performing on a monumental level. The pressure must be unloaded full-bore once the Sala trial is over, because he is (and I do not say this lightly) a cancer on this club.
We could always try branching out into the Circus industry and see where that gets us. After all we already have a bunch of clowns running the club and a head honcho who would give Charlie Charolee a good run for his money.

I’m sure there is a pair of Stan Stennet’s clown shoes tucked in a cupboard at CCS.
I’d love to see Dalman parade around the pitch wearing those.

Get Tan, Dalman and Choo to sell. They are actively hostile to our growth as a football club at this point. Wrexham are where they are because they have a positive atmosphere in their club, it's that simple. We are in the running, alongside Manchester United and Reading (the former of which are still a Premiership side and the latter of which are selling) for having the most miserable, underachieving side as it stands in the 92 relatively to geographical size/fan capture.
We do not have a director of football in the year 2025. We are the only capital city in Europe without a team in the top division, or even the second division now. This is unacceptable beyond measure and something must be done because this club is on life support due to the feckless threesome. This is a sick joke, and I'm tired of the complacency.
There are offers and not those that the pine man is peddling. Tan just needs to do one

Anyone who clapped the players off today should hang their head in shame

Much as though I want many of them to leave, I felt they did everything but score yesterday. The effort put in justified a response and it looks like the vast majority in attendance agreed.

The vast majority in attendance didn’t clap the team off yesterday. Most people had left by the time they started shuffling around the field.

I think that was more to do with the couple of minutes after the final whistle when no-one seemed to know what was happening. I clapped, along with what I thought the large majority. They played well, they put in really good effort and my applause was for the game I'd just watched.

I knew what was happening. The game had finished, we'd drawn 0-0 and got relegated, so like the majority of the crowd I left. Plenty had left before the final whistle. There wasn't much applause for the team as I was leaving the Ninian Stand and any such applause certainly didn't come from the majority of the crowd.
It was interesting to hear the West Brom fans to my left giving their team some serious stick. They've obviously got significantly higher expectations than our lot.

I think if Riza had still been in charge the atmosphere in the last 2 games would have been far more toxic. The performance was okay yesterday, it was in most of the 44 games before it wasn’t! There were Tan out chants , some applause but worst of all a lot of resignation and apathy from the majority, I think we’ve been beaten as a support. I’m still convinced a lot of passion died when Tan changed colours , we have had moments of joy since but there’s a huge disconnect between the owner , board and the fans

Oh I see. You are commenting on the accuracy of other accounts AFTER you had left yourself.

Not at all.

Yesterday's attendance was declared at 23,710. The vast majority of those in attendance did not clap the players off yesterday. That was obvious to anyone who was there.

Why? Should people who continue to support shit teams also be ashamed?

Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 0 - 0 W.B.A.. RELEGATED
I read on Walesonline that some of the players were in tears. Good, we've been in tears for the last few seasons and they more likely crying about taking a pay cut playing for accrington stanley.
