Probably because it's been so easy for them. No stress, no worrying, no watching the clock etc. This was a practice game for swansea, a pre season friendly, a testimonial, no real concerns. There is something seriously wrong at our club based on that performance. Play shit, cave in, give the ball away etc, but show some ****ing desire. Not one of our players is even frustrated enough to get sent off.

Cant see that happening, they won’t want to come back here.
We may all be jumping the gun here, he might keep his job.

Gone on too long.
Not just the results but his negativity.
If he gets to Fulham they won't sack him at all. No reason other than money why they should be here beyond tonight. I'd include most players in that but they are far harder to shift.

Re: SWANSEA CITY v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Hold on Mick!
We need to wait for a decent manager to become available before a knee jerk replacement

Why wait until then? As said by another poster, I've stopped caring about the results now. Watching football has never been this painful on the eyes, like a bloody endurance sport.

Re: FT: SWANSEA CITY 3 - 0 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
We were bad first half, Mick gets into them at half time and we are worse second half that says everything about the management and dressing room to me

Time for your rocking chair, pipe and slippers Mick. You don’t need this stress at this time in your life

Tony Pullis is available but if we wait a few more weeks, we might be able to get Steve Bruce.

He's a frustrating player that was never worth what we paid.
In this creativity and pace starved team he would still be an improvement.
Sad times.

He's spent. Absolute disgrace of a manager

Re: FT: SWANSEA CITY 3 - 0 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Bring in Alex Neil, Paul Lambert, Mark Hughes or Chris Coleman. All better options than MM.

Remember they used to say "there are no easy games in the championship"?
Yes there, if Mick McCarthy's picking the team.

Rob Edwards from Forest Green Rovers
Doing a good job playing good football.
I know it's league two but we need to change the ethos of this team.

No, Murphy is not the answer. This is really clutching at straws.

Stress? Does MM look stressed to you? He's only a few months into a two-year deal. Laughing all the way to the bank.

Re: FT: SWANSEA CITY 3 - 0 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Without doubt the worse City team I can remember and ive been going down The City since the 70's, absolutely no passion . I 100% will not go down The City again whilst this managaer is in charge, what covid has shown is that there is no free pass anymore where I would go down to watch City regardless, life is to precious and fragile and I wont be wasting anymore of my time watching the utter dire football, todays game evoked to many negative feelings, I dont want to sit watching a game feeling so much anger. Sack Macarthy, put Morison is charge for Fulham, and take a little time to appointment a new boss, no more knee jerk appointments(so no tony pulis please)

Re: FT: SWANSEA CITY 3 - 0 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
That's me done for today.
Completely pissed off with the club.
I'll leave it to the usual club apologists to pick the positives out of that display.

Sadly, Tan and Lord Mick of Hoof have turned City into a total embarrassment.

Re: FT: SWANSEA CITY 3 - 0 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
The problem is we are again in a situation where we have to panic because we are so shit and we could get cut adrift.
Which will mean another short term manager coming in and changing next to nothing. After Mick steadied the ship last year was the time to make a progressive change, the 2 year contract was about short sighted as you can be.

Turns out giving Mick a 2 year deal was a bad idea
Who'd have f*ckin thought?

Re: FT: SWANSEA CITY 3 - 0 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Just cancelled my CCTV subscription. So I don't don't go to games, and I'll no longer be paying to watch games. I'll still have opinions though. I hope that's OK with the thought police.

Steve Morrison in for Wed please - can't do any worse 🤔

Re: FT: SWANSEA CITY 3 - 0 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I Blame myself
Been pottering around the house doing odd jobs and I put the game on, 30 seconds the Jacks have scored the 1st, 1/2 time arrives I get on with another job, think to myself, I'll see what the game is like, inside another 30 second they score the 2nd, I turned if off and stayed away, on a plus point, I wasn't to blame for the 3rd, that was all city's fault
