Unless you’re welsh, you would have seen him be injured for most of the last two years, have a very average Rangers spell where he missed a pen in the final, and didn’t play that well against Ukraine. I’m surprised there’s even a market for it

After all this ****ing about, I’m going to be a little miffed if he goes elsewhere. If it was a non starter, I’d have no problem. But now he’d be actively turning us down.
Is this the head of 'The Thinker'?

"Gareth Bale expected to confirm his future plans in the early part of next week" apparently

I wonder if there will be soms casual agreement between city and bale even if he doesnt sign. Training together etc.... Doesnt his house back on to the Vale pretty much so would make sense.
For what its worth if i was him id go to the MLS. Standard is decent now with lots of young south americans. He won't find it easy. And the golf courses.....
It's not happening is it?
Signing for LAFC, which Tan has/had a stake in

Are finalising a deal :sherlock:
Disappointing if true
Yeah, it is a shame mind, I'd rather he played in Europe. The pitches in the US aren't great, the standard isn't great and the amount of travelling is ridiculous. I can see him getting injured quite easily tbh.
Also a bit weird to go and not be a designated player? The only thing the US has going for it is money
1/20 MLS
8/1 City
Significant move in betting.
Really disappointing if true. Carrot dangled and taken away quite harshly in my eyes.
LAFC are finalizing a deal to sign former Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale, sources tell MLSsoccer.com.
its hardly concrete proof he has decided on them,
Our only chance is a two month loan Jan-Feb.. if he's even arsed to keep playing
Never rated him.
Ah well at least all the speculation is over. Disappointing how it's played out but don't blame either parties.
Least we can move on.
First time a man has broke my heart, never thought it would be Bale.
Sounds like we turned him down rather than the other way round.
Good move for all parties I think, warm weather training and games to get his fitness up.
He’d have improved us no doubt, but not by enough to make the plays offs.

A real shame……
