But we do have those points.
We were lucky to get some of them and unlucky to lose some of them.
Right now we seem devoid of confidence, but let’s wait until February/March before we start shitting our knickers.

He has improved us, thirty points before Christmas makes that pretty obvious, but we’ve been figured out and the basic weaknesses in our whole squad when it comes to technique and passing are dragging us down - tonight it looked like all but Colwill and perhaps Etete out of our midfield and attacking players are going through a crisis of confidence.

Second half, when we were passing it around their box getting nowhere, that's a high line 11 men in and around the box?
Stick to crying over Drippy :hehe:
Great day overall

What an idiot, a couple of not-so-good performances and you think we are going down :hehe:

It's been more than a couple and they have been awful, not merely "not so good". If it carries on we will be heading towards the relegation zone.

We are three points off the playoffs, happy days

And when you think we've won 7 points in the last 7 games, relying on set pieces and sendings off and scoring 1 goal in our last 4, it shows how close the Championship is.

I'm not sure why Colwill is getting so much grief, he was always moving into space and asking for the ball, but the midfield seem to scared of giving the ball away and pass it backwards instead, he was the only player who could make a decent pass and the confidence to try it , he clearly has vision and technique that no other player in that team has.

He's certainly improved us at set pieces. Other than that, on the evidence of the last few games, I see no improvement on the dross we endured for much of last season.

What about the games before that when we have gained enough to be just outside the play offs ?
Two high pressure games v Swansea and Bristol
6 points
We are a far better side this season , that's clear simply by the points on the board

All the more reason why the recent stuff is so unacceptable.

He's certainly quicker than Wintle and far more dynamic and energetic

But you’ve got to look at it over the course of the season though haven’t you? The first three months were clearly better, the last six weeks much less so and the signs are that we’re getting worse - we’re incapable of surprising the opposition and players like Siopis, Bowler, Tanner, Wintle, Ugbo and Robinson have been well short of their best lately.
-
Re: FT: CARDIFF CITY 0 - 1 BIRMINGHAM CITY. Match thread
Missing Ramsey Ralls and O'Dowda. Thats three of our best players ffs
We're having a blip, but we were playing well and beating teams well. I still think playoffs is achievable if we get Moore in.

We need a goalscorer to feed off Moore too , what we have isn't good enough

Teams are paying us more respect and are setting up defensively, we'll need to adapt.

Siopis has run himself into the ground, but the others you mentioned - plus Etete and Colwill, wouldn't get into any side in the Championship - certainly not as 1st team regulars. We had an early season 'bounce' but the whole team is now flat as a pancake.

This, pretty much ^^^
Although I just saw a replay of their goal and there can be no excuse for the effort the keeper made in defending his goal, nor Goutas's!
