There appears to be no attempt to search for a new manager, so it'll go to Hudson for a few months and then he'll be sacked. We really need football people making decisions at our club. The hierarchy are clueless. A fan could do a better job at least they'd recruit someone to tackle the tasks beyond them.

I was thinking the same this morning.
It's been strangely quiet.
No doubt they're waiting to see how Hudson does and are praying they won't have to spend money on someone else.
Re: Next Manager odds from Skybet
We've now got to the point where Poundland seems a bit fancy.
There's no logic in giving Hudson matches that SM could have taken. Unless they are honestly going through a lengthy interview process. There's usually some talk of someone turning it down or being turned down.
Other clubs seem to sound replacements out.
Re: Next Manager odds from Skybet
There's pretty much been no movement in the market whatsoever. Hudson was as short as 1/2 but has been 10/11 for a while, as has Bamba at 3/1. The only changes have seen Warne finally removed - days after taking the Derby job - and Rob Edwards unsurprisingly added after leaving Watford. Skybet don't have a clue. Purely from a punting perspective, Hudson looks good value as he seems the default selection, although they'd only pay out if he took charge of a minimum 10 games.
Re: Next Manager odds from Skybet
Rob Edwards seems such an obvious choice. Why aren’t we even looking at anyone other than Hudson?

Edwards didn't have that much more experience than a lot of the other names mentioned, or indeed Morison himself, unless you count non league football

He’s halved in price in the last 24 hours or so.

So he's inexperienced unless you count his experience?
Re: Next Manager odds from Skybet
Listening to Not the Top 20 Podcast, seems Edwards likes 3 at the back and plays direct. Not sure how Watford lined up this season, but would seem on point for Cardiff to bring in that sort of manager having spent the summer recruiting for another. Nailed on!
